Master carved items

I've been trying to get into making the master carved weapons, I have all the designs and lately ive just been building up as much drenium ore as i can buy purchasing magical aethers with each character each day.. I figured it was the best method, and ill just grind dp while extracting drops i get and selling stones. I didn't know if there was a more efficient method.

And I'd like to know if there is any way possible to increase the chance of turning the weapon to its upgraded version from to green worth/expert/noble ect.

and after all that is it easier to just save up several mats and make several versions to continue the path to each upgraded design? Like to make several worthys greens before i start on trying to make the blues.

I dont know if i have explained my question well enough but some sort of input would help.

There are many superstitions about creating Noble items. Some people say you need to craft X amount at a time. Some people say you need to have full DP. Some people say you need to spin around in circles three times and stand on your head.

Way back when getting Expert in anything was next to impossible I wrote a very personal and not so happy letter to NCsoft about getting Noble items from recipes and actually received a reply.

Basically they said it's completely random with a % that they WOULD NOT reveal. They said it was a hidden aspect of the game and would not say what was actually imbedded in the game as the percentage of something that might turn Noble for each recipe. Only that there WAS an exact percentage per recipe and that it was random. They actually suggested to me to gather up between 6 and 10 tries at a time and do them all at once, but that there was a distinct possibility that even in doing that...none of the recipes would turn out Noble.

I will say that I've done a lot of crafting and at one time were spreadsheets and many people testing just WHAT IS THE PERCENTAGE?? It varies considerably, but most people agree it's between 1 and 10% per recipe. HA...inorite!! In -most- cases you make something about 15 times and you'll get at least one Noble. If you're incredibly unlucky (which I was) you could make something 50 times in a row and NEVER get green/blue/gold out of it...or you could be like a friend of mine and one-shot nearly every fkn recipe you've ever done.

Now, that being said. It doesn't hurt you to build up DP before hand, make a lot at once and otherwise use other people's superstitions about what time of day, which table to stand at and so on and so forth.

Basically, crafting in Aion is like going to a Casino. You can walk in with 100 bucks and walk out 10,000 or you can walk in with 10,000 and end up owing the House another 10 grand.

In my old Retail Legion we would pray before we made an important recipe. We prayed to the 'Robot God.' He is a vengeful God, but if he sees fit...hey may grant you a crit. Pray to the Robot God!!!

 

Yea the unlucky part is my big issue right now. i'd hope that the %'s would be at least raised for certain items like for example the drenium recipies, only because of the chance to crit worthy/expert/noble is needed so much more than other types of crafts to progress the item further.
Well what i am doing is trying to get about 10 of each to craft to tr to get that crit, will take a while, but will be nice to have a few master crafts.

well i guess my next question is how long did it take to craft your first master craft?

 

It took me about 2-3 days to make my MCC glasses. I ended up making 44 glasses, and by the time I finished, I had made 3 MCC glasses. I was morphing malevite, gathering it, gathering aether like crazy. At night before I'd go to sleep, I'd just leave the game on so it would craft ingots and ornaments for me. Don't make bundles if you don't need to since you'll lose some of your mats that way. I needed all the ones I could get lol. The only tricky part was getting the Fragments from the Asmo forts.

i made a couple of Master Carved Nanyu Bow... and we my experience i can tell that the rate is 25%.... but if u want to have this 25%.... u have to do eveything in 1 time.... so u have better opportunity to get the 25%...

to get 1 master carved nanyu bow i have to made 20 bows... to end with 1.... soo a hard work...

 

I think its not worthy to craft here in gamez because whatever you craft the market price is gonna be cheap as hell..A big waste of time. Besides the important designs almost never proc. So far im at 10/10 fails for nhde malevite glasses. And ofc balaur designs are harder than mcd ones.

 

Well.. it is and it isnt worthy... cuz i dont change my bows xD... but its how u said here in gamez is not worthy cuz u can get an ABG just donating or voting... but in retail having 1 of this weapon is a big deal...
