This is still an on-going accomplishment that I'm more and more proud of myself every day that I keep on track.

To be honest I often forget about the day that would be my "anniversary" but then once I realize I have, I kind of feel more proud of myself for even being able to forget about the fact that I smoked at all.

 

Congrats. I've seen people who try-and try-and try. I'm glad you're doing well. It's not an easy feat to accomplish.

Thanks, haha. I think I can pretty safely say that I'm over it. I feel way better without them than I did with them.

 

Wow 8 months though... It's a lot. My record was 2 months only. I'm still a smoker although I smoke way less now.

 

What I did that really seemed to help was start smoking just half at a time, and coming back way later for the other half, and eventually work my way down to 1 or 2 a day. After a bit I just started not wanting them anymore.
