This is why I want Ground Battles!

Wtf... Ground PvP has absolutely NOTHING to do with templars' lack of awesomeness on this server.

 

I want ground PvP too haha, air pvps all flashy but yea it gives me a headache=/

 

its looks pretty nice

 

ground pvps are flashier imo.

 

twinking takes 10000 times more skill then lvling to cap and pvping that way.
i love how it was sort of a tag team tournament. one dies, next one picks up where he left off. only way to tell true skill is to see how long you last lol.

I was talking more about the fact that templars here take shit loads of damage, unlike in retail(like in the vid).

 

1. He's using a greatsword.
2. Because he's using a GS, he'll lose the effect from his shield (50-60%) less damage.
3. Sword & Shield will end up with him losing too much DPS to win a 2vs6 or whatever it is

Ground pvp will change nothing. Thats all retail videos, in retail the dmg 1/10 like here. Glads do max 2k crit sorcs do max 2-3k dmg etc. etc. in full gear. In air pvp one 1v1 is max 10 sec. Why do you think that it in ground will change. BTW my idea is make the dmg decrase like in retail (if you attack an another player -40% attack) make resists attack caps etc. after it we can enjoy the ground pvp.

 

We're talking level 40 here, rite?

 

this isnt mostly ground pvp but this is the best sin i've seen. from my retail server.

it took me 4 hours.

 

I agree damage is bugged here for melee a bit, but it changes nothing. Ground pvp is more intense and more tactical. Terrain is a factor etc. Skill is needed. And honestly, free fly offers absolutely NOTHING but being able to travel a bit faster, which can be nullified with the 1.9 teleporters. The abyss still ahs free fly as do certain locs in hieron and beluslan, so I honestly find it pointless to defend it.

Going back to retail argument is plain stupid
