All About Magic Resist.

DOES 400-500 MR can Resist >??

Cuz i do have 2,400 MR with Elemental Ward And The SM have 2,029 MA . And The SM only resist 2,3 times.

Some skills of sm cant be resisted,like the debuffs or something.. But on my cleric i used to have 2430 MR and i was resisting everything,only getting bypassed from sups of focus..

im pretty sure that is because your hard MR is lower than his hard MA, soft helps but not by that much

Mry mr 2.2 + temp's mr buff (+ 800 mr) I can resist all sm skills but, not sorc ma xD

Let me show u smth : 2.4k - 2.1k = 300 = 30% chance to resist . So 3-4 resist is not enaught ? I mean i think that the spiritmaster didn't put macc stones for his skills to get resisted . I am right ?
Another thing that i really want to point at : A mr sorc can get 2.7k mr . I mean you did not even went full mr vs a sm ( witch is full macc ) and u want to resist everything . Sorry but i can't understand ... .

P.S ; When i log on my sm ( i've got @ 2.2k macc ) 5 skills , 3 are resisted vs some clerics / chanters . Sometimes i hit 3 times ( 2 of them gets resisted ) . Well escuse me they should have like hmm 10-20% chance to resist meh .. but ... yeah i guess so . I prefere to play my sin , i find it more op .

Be thankfull that Sms are not working properly here ...

They have static +250 Maa from their passive, so you can get 100 Mr/Maa diference at the most. But here the passive is not working.

Mr / Maa is working very nice .... me having 1400 Mr and I am ressiting stuff from bad geared casters ... Gonna pwn hard with two abg Mr stacked items !

Totally wrong section, MR is working fine, you guys are just unlucky.

What build should I put for my Sorcerer who is full ABG D: I am tired of full MR and oftentimes getting resisted =.= with this build as well I rarely resist most SM.

Sorry for being off topic. Found a chance to get ones attention specially the author whom they said to be one of the best Sorcerers

 

70% macc and 30% mr . Be sure that you have elemental ward on your build . The rest is history ...

 

Thanks. I am actually playing in Siel but I need the reply for my Crystal Aion Sorcerer too since I am almost done with my ABG set there. I would love to try any build that will suit my play style more but if it requires me to be MACC+MR then I might choose the stigma with Elemental Ward.

bleah i been qqing about this for a while now, im full mr 2700 and Sms with 2.2k mac have no problem fearing me til my death.. while back gms fixed the debuffs from the sm and they get resisted or used to maybe its back to being broken cuz they dun seem to fail now but what gets me more frustrated is that they actualy resist me more with thier 1.8-1.9k MR i know right !! full mac sm resisting me more than i do with 2.7k mr......i was fighting this sm kelendros and i resist his first fear but not the debuf as always anyway my "sleep storm" went trough then used "magic assist" by then my mac was 2.1k anda he resisted my :"magama eruption ", "delayed blast" then "silence" then arcane landed! and then "frost" was resisted then he feared me .. then i ran away . so how come full mac sms resist me more than i resist them?
