i was looking at the LFG foe someone that was sellthe abg dagger i follow some one name defauterx

i /w him and ask now much he said 6 b good deal i know

i want to him and we start to trade

but first he said rule's

4 b first the 2 b secound so

i trade him 4 b and he show me the dagger and than i trade him 2 b and i wait for my dagger BUT THE NOOB WARP AND WAY BEFOR I COULD GET IT AND THAT WITH MY GOLD

I WANT A GM TO LOOK IN TO THIS B/C I THINK THIS IS SO WRONG THAT MY GOLD IS GONE :sad::sad::sad::sad::sad::sad::sad::sad:

 

Screenshot everything you can, or well... I hope you did. If possible (speaking if you are STILL logged in) scroll back into the chat and get chatlog's if possible.

Screenshot the "Combat" tab which SHOULD have all of the transaction's such as "soandso spent X kinah..." "trade successful" etc. You'll NEED those!


Also if you can go back through the chat's you've had, screenshot as much of the conversation with the person as possible... if you can go so far back as to when you saw them initially (such as if they were shouting "Selling dagger only 6 billion kinah!") then that is great as well!

The GM's need as much proof as possible in order to even be able to attempt to help you.

 

Aegis is right.. provide a screenshot as fast as you can. and try to use //gmlist in game. and if a GM is online. PM him/her (GM) right away to check the char that scammed you. and while the GM is watching that char. post here with a Screenshot Asap.

It would probably be better if you just took a screen shot and posted it on here to show everyone who they shouldn't trade with. But For future reference don't risk giving away that kind of money. If they want you to trade 4 billion in the first trade tell them you want the item in the first trade. Take screenshots the entire time of the deal and end results. Just in case they scam you, you can report them to the GM's

 

Okay, take as many screenshot's as you can and tryand post them inside you're opening post within this thread. The more the better, get as much detail as you can. Even the little pointless thing's count, they may be very integral =)!


use a uploading site like photobucket or imageshack and get as much as you can up pronto ^_^.


Added: And as a note for the future, please get a GM to help you... whether it is typing //gmlist in game and PMing them ingame or PMing them here in the forum's. They will be more than happy to help assist you're trade as a medium.

Best method to avoid scam's is to get GM help ^_^.

Good first screenshot, please get the combat tab as well. Since this show's stuff like

" you have withdrawn 999,999,999 kinah from the warehouse" or something like that "you accepted to trade with this person" "you accepted trade" "you spent 999.999.999 kinah" "trade complete"

well first of all if some1 asks for money first u know something smells fishy and u should be careful, a trade is a trade and should be done all at once, item for money, its a 2 step process so u can check what ur getting. if some1 asks for 66% of the cash FIRST u can already see a scam coming xD btw for big trades like these u can ask a gm online to oversee the trade, a mod on another thread said ur allowed to do that when u trade website stuff
