Pro Chanters

I have some questions.

1º- Is there any tutorial in the forum about chanters?

2º- When my target is stumbled i can only do 1 skill but i see people doing 2 skills while the target is stumbled.

3º- A player told me to make keybinds but i don't really know what's that or how to use it.

I hope you can help me with these.


(I use Direct IP so my ping is average.)

 

If your fast enough u can do 2 skills while stumbled or even 3. Just keybind the skills or put them nicely on hotbar so its easy acces.(i dont use keybinds and i can use 3 skills when a player is stumbled)

 

Can someone explain me what's a keybind? And where in the hotbar?

 

See the 3 bars I have all my skills on? Those are hotbars.



As for keybinds, access through Options > Key Mapping.



By doing this, you won't have to click on skills, which saves a lot of time and effort trying to land a skill/response to opponents.

Keybinding is for nubs.

 

clicking is nicer that the keyboard in stumble skills .. i prefer it and with low ping and a good pc you can do the skills that appeal when the target is in stumble

 

Yup yup clicking with chain skils and stumble skills seems easier to me aswell
I can usually get off all 3 stumble attacks then they end up still stumbled at the end XD
Keybinds + Clicking has been the best for me ^_^

btw there is not any good chanter guide in forums.. but you can learn from chanter videos people posted on the forums

 

I can try making a chanter guide, but then again that's a lot of work >.>

your build saha is for lumiel. this guy plays in siel.


so i could give some tips:

As we all know in siel you survive with Magic Resist and from what i saw our friend is trying to get or already have a stormwing chain set.. stormwing set's are supposed to be MR set's since they give bonus MR..

Putt Mr manastones in the set . on the staff critical and mace-shield Mr or block..(mr since it's not pvp set)

Use the staff when you want to kill or damage and the mace-shield when you support or trying to save your azz.

chanters in siel can do everything and a support chanter is very helpful .. so the buffs are important!

elemental screen gives 2000 physical defense and 200 elemental defense! the cooldown is small so use it.. it's very helpful also vs sorcs.. you already got elemental defences from the blessing of stone buff. word of inspiration and protection are also very good when you are in a group. invisibility mantra.

if you want to go for solo then use attack/crit manastones.. blessing of the wing helps to deal more damage as long as the DP skill with 2m cooldown

I'm still trying to get SW set but i already have a good staff +15 with crit like you said and that is very helpfull but now i can't take something out my mind...I checked my SW items and they where tradeable, checked my ABG Spear and tradeable...what hapened?

 

Personally, I only keybind terribly important skills. Such as IJ, Remove shock, perfect parry, binding word, and soul lock. I mean, you don't want to have to click remove shock, you want to be able to use it as fast as possible :x Same goes for Soul lock, so you can manage to get the skill off before they use remove shock. And perfect parry especially when fighting sins/glads/temps.

Anyways, as for manastone builds. There's quite a bit of builds you can go. Well, Fant already mentioned them mostly, so yeah :x

Personally, I'm parry/crit/acc. But it's all up to what fits your own playstyle.

 

I like Crit/MR or Crit/Block

 

btw because i saw that u said about trading items... without VIP membership you can't trade abg

I tried it and it wasnt a big jump from my MR set lol

I have 2 sets 1 is full MR and Shield and mace dull block and the other set is Crit/ Acc with the staff full attack,
From countless builds I find these 2 to be the best (personally) I solo alot so most of the im running around with my MR set since its "universal"
my crit/acc set I use more for set up matches specially against plate and chain users since I will get them out of the way in 1 combo XD
