    Let's take XSplit as an example.
    What should be the minimum requirement to stream your gameplay live by recording with XSplit and using Ustream or Own3d as streamer?

    ?GB RAM
    ?kind of CPU

    If you want to stream at a decent quality, you’re going to need a pretty powerful computer. If you’re not streaming at a good quality, no one is going to watch. So basically, your minimum specifications will need to meet the following:

    • QuadCore 3.2GHz CPU
    • 6GB RAM
    • 1GB graphics card
    • 1Mbps upload speed minimum

    I stream at 30 fps, and highest res that own3d allows, and there's no lag on either end (livestream & my game). I've got 8 gigs of ram and an AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 820 Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.8GHz. I'm pretty sure you'll have better, seeing as this computer is ages old and nothing done to it except a graphics card.

    a graphics card can compensate for lower processing power pretty well too thx to hardware acceleration (like cuda cores from nvidia cards)
