Is the server down...? (Cannot connect to authorization server.)

Hey everyone. I have been away from Aion for awhile, and now that I try to return, I can't remember any of my old account info (which is frustrating as hell LOL). Anyway, I downloaded the new launcher, and when I tried to log in, nothing happened for a minute, and then I get a message pop-up saying "Cannot connect to authorization server." Am wondering if anyone else is getting this message, or if the server is down, or...? Thanks in advance!

 

I wouldn't say the server is down its up and running pretty much 24/7. I will tell you that depending on how long your old account's
been inactive then that will determine whether or not its been deleted from gamezaion database. Seeing as to how there was a removal of old and inactive account a while ago. Also seeing that you just joined im quite certain your account was most likely deleted from the database but you never know i may be wrong prob something else who knows.

Your best bet is asking a HGM, or making a new account and starting over.
