It could be stopped. After thinking about it. It can be even larger than what ppl are making it seem. If the U.S wasn't so lazy though. But think about it. If ppl are going to so called be fined for having music that "isn't theirs" Wouldn't they also fine ppl that have used "instrumentals" from music that isn't theirs also. Since technically they have no paperwork saying the original owner said they could use it? Which would in turn mean just about every rapper that has ever made a mixtape will be put in jail, along with any up and coming rapper and anyone who has ever had possession of an instrumental or music file that isn't theirs. but thats just what passed through in my head. But good thing the U.S is lazy.

Only from the meaning of those words you see how retarded the idea is. In greek SOPA= "Orly?" and PIPA = Blowj0b LOL

What I don't get with this Copyright holders is why the hell when someone's using an artist music into their videos like in a wedding or graduation they get deleted or sent notices for copyright even though you have downloaded the original music from itunes legally. For ***** sake these music are aired for free in the radios and over music videos(MTV etc.). I see a lot of these happening in Youtube videos.

Well... i still think they should stop with that PIPA / SOPA / ACTA things... u can see in U.S. Candidates websites they don't give any credits and don't even pay the Copyright from photos, videos and musics as well...

theres another 1 u didnt mention, something bout preventing child porn (something nobody would think of looking into coz it seems good and obvious) lets ISPs keep ur browser history for up to a year and make it available to the government. its the same bs
