Question about asmodian abyss gears/medals

Hi, I'm new to the server and I quickly noticed the value of 50e/EAT and Primus items go down the drain rather quickly. I don't have any fancy gears and I was just wondering how to obtain 50e/APP sets?

Do the majority of players gain it through simply voting? or is there a quick way to farm medals? I know people can re-create 55 characters for 10 plat medals each time, but what about gold medals?

The Abyss forts don't work, unless it was changed and I wasn't aware, so the only way to get the plat medals for APP is to level characters to 55 and get them from the surveys.

 

When u take over a fort u get gold medals in mail. (or help)
also if ur legion owns 1 fort, and u successfully defend it. ur legion BG will get 2 mail. 1 with gold medals and 1 with silver medals (per fort).
the fort also should get much harder next time the other faction try to take it. (if it works on gamez)
but dont know how many times this stack.
