Gamez Aion launcher trouble

Hey guys
i am having problems with the gamez aion launcher when i open it, appears an error about aion.bin i have aion.bin but everytime i got to click on don't send to quit out of that error and never enter in game
I downloaded the bat file too and the same error what i should do?? i am totally confused

Try repairing your client using the NCSoft Launcher, and make sure you installed Gamez Aion Launcher in the right path.

 

i did what you said but still the same thing i installed Gamez Aion Launcher in D:\Games\NCsoft\Aion

aion sux since more things can cause the same error so ill just put it all out here

1. this is 1 of the 2 errors the modified items.pak can give (since ur new im assuming u dont have it yet, dont get it until ur game actually works)
2. corrupt files can give this in which case repairing through ncsoft launcher would fix it
3. sometimes the bin32 folder is screwed up (can be from other private servers) and repair doesnt fix it, in that case u can download the 2.7.0.0 bin32 folder, delete yours and replace it with this 1 then try again

4. directx errors tend to be more specific but since directx 9.0c is required by the game to play anyway, cant hurt to try get it
Download DirectX 9.0c (Jun 10) - Download - FileHippo.com
install it (not just extract, really install) and restart ur pc afterwards, then try again

try these, see if anything helps

edit:

oh an if u have vista or win 7, turn off ur user account control (the bs that keeps asking if ur really really sure whenever u try to do anything). its in control panels -> users -> UAC (last option)

aion really doesnt get along with that one well

otherwise u can try right click the launcher and run it as administrator

 

shit i am stupid i uninstalled aion and now i have to wait again 3 days to download the update >_<

 

"the update"....what update? r u updating a separately downloaded game?
install aion entirely through ncsoft launcher if u can (with region set to north america)

also 3 days...yea repairing after might help, long downloads have a higher chance of corrupt files, which is 1 of the causes for the error

no i am not updating a separately downloaded game..i just let even 10 hours and just 1 of 5 is done. Than to make the second part i got to let 9 hours the3,4,5 go more fast they are ready in 3 hours maybe 4..but it's a lot have a 207Kbs/sec it's horrible ~x(..it should work just if i connect my computer on a high speed internet to a friend maybe than it will work

 

erm actually, if ur friend has aion already u can literally copy paste the game from his pc to urs, aion doesnt need an installation

the only thing ull have to do after is run ncsoft launcher, right click aion -> properties -> browse and locate aion.bin in ur bin32 folder so it links the game to the launcher

bubt how do i have to copy it? i got to copy it from the folder aion or i dont know......can i copy it on DVDs?

 

lol dude ud need like 4 dvds to fit all of it, use a USB key if its big enough or an external harddrive. external hdd is good for backups and large file transfers (really dvds r already dying)
