im a cleric in game, and i would like to know which 1 is the best set for solo pvp.which 1 is the best set for pve. And whats the best manastone for the best solo pvp set and for the best pve set

it really depends if you solo pve alot go magic boost. If you group alot go with a hybrid magicboost and hp stones...

If you pvp alot go full magic resist stones with anuhart set..

If you got the credits fenris set is great for going mr.. Or the lvl 40 elite pvp set then move onto the abg stuff in time.

Can someone absolutey confirm that magic resist actually works? I mean full MR vs full HP during pvp, do you get out of mire jams with MR orismore HP the best?

 

MR is garbage. I've never see someone resist an attack that wasn't due to using a specific skill. HP HP HP. You are a support class in mass pvp and a tank in 1v1. You need to be able to absorb damage while the DoTs that comprise 70% of your attacks work and you need to not get ganked so your group can stay healed. Clerics are amazingly OPed atm, since impervious veil is bugged. Your shields stacked with an HP set gives you an equivalent of around 25k hp.

 

i can confirm mr works i resit 50% of the magical crap thown at me.... then having a sorc tree you then resist its light burst then tell me its crap

 

Only time rangers resist me is when they pop their skill that auto resists two magic skills. xD

 

How can i use impervious veil? i need remove shock and i cant use it... tell me how? cause its chain skill

 

first u have to make sure u did used remove shock bcuz sometimes looks like u did but u really didnt

 

i can use remove shock only when i am stunned or etc?

 

just when ur stunned, but u have really short time to use it, so make sure u do it quick, then the chain skills will pop in ur screen which is impervious veil and the other 1 which is a magic damage skill (forgot the name)

 

Only when you are stunned, and it's bugged. The skill pops, but doesn't remove the stun. Sometimes results in the inability to cast veil because you only get about a three second window to cast it. Takes some practice in timing RS to pop just before the stun expires.

I was just thinking that i want big damage so i can sneak attack my enemy and make him die with 1-2 hits.. thats magic boost i guess..

 

You will only kill squishies with a single chain, really. Anyone with 10k hp will take more abuse.

 

ok i am not a veteran at playing a cleric . after reading the forum i have tried a few things and i find that a 50 split with MR and hp works best for me this alows for game play and pvp. i got to say mr does work!

 

full mr is good for pve 2 killing taha with full mr is nice you donr get prarralized

 

yeah me and a guildie went on a testing spree with it last week with anuharts set accessories tabu mace and shield all socketed with mr+12's which gave me 1658 mr then with food for a total of 1708mr.. keep in mind anuharts isnt the best set for a mr build.. with fenris you could go full mr and have 5 sockets for hp stones and still be over 1700 mr with out food.. the elite 40 pvp set also works but you will wanna work on the abg set to be honest. just keep in mind 1700 mr is your target area if you go the mr route food gives you another 50mr.. but getting to the point with the 40 elite pvp set or abg once you get to 1700 mr use hp stones .

During out test..
with the anuharts set at 1658 mr+ food 1708mr

vs a cleric i resisted
call lighting 6/10 times
cleric dots about 1/2 the time was resited
punish earth chain resisted 1/2 the time

vs spirit master
resisted fear 4/10 times
dots 1/2 the time

vs sorc
sleep/cure of roots resisted 7/10 times
Lightburst/shadow burst resisted 2/5 times

I stopped reading at the part when a sorc Tree someone then Lightburst.

 

Due to auto learn stigma skills, every class gets every stigma available. This means Sorcs get there high hitting skills while also getting supplication of focus(1k M.Acc) If this were retail I'd be all for using M.Resist but for the most part the M.Acc is just to high in this server to bother, you're better off going full HP (You'll get over 12k) and surviving bursts.. unless you can get atleast 2k M.Resist, even then your still gonna have to worry about the sorc.

Also to anyone who says m.boost just reroll sorcerer. Cleric is not a DPS class, if your gonna bother with M.Boost just switch to a cloth set which will give even more of it.
