Un-Tradable Items.

Hi!

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question!
I applied the items.pak to the game so I could trade/sell un-tradable items.
I don't see the text where it says its un-tradable anymore, but I still can't trade the items and/or sell.

Do I have to be VIP to perform those actions after I have applied the new files from the items.pak.
I used the version 2, in that guide.

Depend on which item u want to trade/sell. Like ABG u need to have VIP to be able to trade that item.

 

Oh okay, I don't know what ABG items are. But I saw the FAQ thread answered my question. But what is ABG items?

4. What is VIP? And who can I trade to?-VIP allows you to trade items that Non-VIP can’t along with increasing rates (XP/Drop/AP/etc). VIP can trade to VIP and Non-VIP. Non-VIP cannot trade to VIP or other Non-VIP.

 

Well, maybe I still need help. Another statement says- ; Maybe someone can give me an idea of what ABG is in detail, i'd greatly appreciate it.

All items are tradable with vip.

Abg mean Archon Brigade General which is top gear in Aion.

Did u put the item.pak in Aion/Data/USA/Items. Have u try both version?

Okay, I tried the first version and same results. I can't trade still.
Does it have to say ABG in the name? I can't trade the un-tradable items still

 

Well, HOW would you trade the items? SEnd them by mail? Sell them? Or Trade person to person?
I tried to sell, it didn't work. It keeps closing my shop as soon as I click "Open".
When I trade, the items don't show up.
When I try to sell in the market it doesn't apply or go to the 'sell' section.
None of them tell me "You can't sell/trade un-tradable items."

If that was happening to me I would repair my NC soft client and install item.pak see if it works, if not I'm out of ideas QQ

 

you need to be ViP so you can trade all items to other people (you can have vip if you have 1.5k credits and get the vip status in the website), but you can trade taha weapons and anuhart class armors by just using the item.pak

 

I can see that you're really trying and can speak coherent English so I'll try and offer all the help I can to you.
i don't know much but hopefully it gives you a more general sense.
abg is simply a set of armor in aion. It's the top sought after set and most come from donations or voting credits. Exclusively, you need to be VIP to be able to trade them to someone or mail it.
i know the item.pak is able to remove untradable tags on the items but what I do not know is what can and can't be traded/mailed/brokered other than abg.

My guess is that there will be a restriction on any item able to be bought in the donation shops which include some other pvp sets and some pretty decent endgame pve sets like mastarius items.

If you followed the instructions and correctly installed your items.pak you shouldn't see the untradable tag any longer. It seems like you don't, so my guess is you executed it correctly but you're possibly trying to trade/mail/broker something that exclusively requires VIP.
but again my knowledge of which items other than abg is quite lacking.

Thanks Serenee! You too Krypt! Well, I have done the same operation to my install files and still the same results on my second computer. So I guess I have to be VIP in order to trade. There are many things I can't trade, even (blue named) grade items.

I've only started maybe a week ot two ago. So the grade of armor I go by colors haha. I've learned so much!

Krypt, that there makes sense. I guess with the files edited, its such a luxury to trade the items they had to make it part of VIP to part take that kind of activity. Bummer.

Kinda forcing a donation there huh? LOL, I guess i'll be... 'donating' here some time soon! But its worth it! Server is great and fun! At least i've had a blast even though i've died out in the battlefields trying to kill those asmos!

One more question, to get VIP; Is it only a donation to amount 1500 credits? Or will I have do donate the amount of 10,000 credits to access the wonderful VIP?

 

u just need to donate/vote 1500 credits to get VIP :3

Where is the list of untredeable items?
from my understanding you need the vip mermbership to trade ABG and plat medals, but i couldn't trade little stuff as corrupt judge armors or the Taloc earings... So i guess the list is quite larger...
