so I probably have like one month on gamez more, then going on retail...umm maybe...

 

Well...don't be too excited guys..
Aion does go f2p.
HOWEVER, f2p players have too many restrictions so it kind of loses the meaning of Aion and destroys the fun you could have with paid account...

I myself might try retail for some time, but not gonna like the restrictions.

 

I dont think I could handle retail rates after having played mid - high rate for the last 2 years. Good luck to those who do go try it though.

Well, one nice thing is the new update 3.0! It looks quite fun and interesting!

 

i dont know what u expected ? free abg to start with ?
ofc all f2p has restrictions. and the f2p wont stop u from getting the same gear everyone els is so not like they are hurting non paying players.
still its nice to play on a server were everything works like everything should.
and its free so dont get why ppl QQ over FREE stuff juts like with gamez we play here for free still so many player rage

Just my opinion, the restrictions that are present are too much for me, so I would rather stay with pservers. Of course I will try that and the new awesome 3.0, but I think I will not stay long there..but who knows..

Furthermore, as someone mentioned above, players who are used to mid/high rates can't usually handle the retail rates, they come back to pservers after a little bit of playing.

Was playing the beta in europe avarage ping 34-40 even on the sieges with like more then 300 ppl on same spot :love:.
Got my cleric to lvl 50 in less then 2 weeks of beta .

it is free yes, but if you wanna have many advantages like faster instance cooldowns , bigger AP rewards etc
you still gotta buy gold membership and i'm sure there will be a cash shop so imo it's not F2P at all.
if you don't pay for gold membership each month you will be wasting MUCH MUCH MUCCCH time.

 

Ncsoft did a very clever move by putting a cloud as a mount. I can already see so many people wanting it because it will remind them of Goku from back in the day DBZ ftw
