what the hell is he talking about... when Kobe stepped into Lakers he didn't get the hype?

Lebron james, Derrick Rose and too many to mention... they got the same hype as Lin does because they play well. not with colors.

the extra ordinary thing about Lin is that he was a bench player whom none thought he could play.

 

lin is better that kobe imo.

 

I'm not sure about that, he seems play funny to me but still he is a miracle Knicks, was looking for.

Lin is a great prospect. if he continues to work hard, he may become one of the best pointguard of the decade.
but its still too early to tell. u have to know that the players that reaches NBA are all capable players and some of those players just more hard working and has more talent w/ the sport.

Lin's story is purely hardwork and his dedication of grabbing his opportunity and making the best of it. He is no Chris Paul, Steve nash or Isiah Thomas (Pistons Legendary PG) yet, but he is indeed one special player.

There is also this young prospect in Sacramento Isiah Thomas (not the Legend of Detroit one) who scored 20pts in the 3rd quarter alone in his recent game. this just shows and proves that these nba players are capable and good.

with that said, with the style that NY Knick's coach Mike D'Antoni which is pure offense and less defense. Lin is obviously comfortable with it, infact he was even compared to Steve Nash who excelled in D'Antoni's coaching.

also, Lin became Linsanity because he plays for the mega franchise Knicks, i think he would have a different result if he played for small market teams like Twolves or Kings or even the Raptors.

I remember when Kings rose and wrecked like hell against Lakers. best underdog stories I liked. each player got the hype like Lin does now.

back in the day, Kings had a breakout decade because they have the most die hard fans and most exciting players that are fast and unselfish.
when they got Cwebb (which for me was one of the unique Power forwards, who can shoot from 15+ ft and can dish the ball and can go low post aswell) from Wiz in a trade for Mitch Richmond, everything went good. Especially when Jayson Williams joined them and did that showtime like moves there w/ vlade, peja , hedo , doug and their bench bobby jackson.

but recently, Kings has been struggling, they were even about close to moving to Anaheim, but good that they didnt.

i think if rubio was a knick today, he will have lots of sports illustrated covers aswell.
