    as a web-programmer i say mozilla firefox

chrome is good too, but there is some function that chrome can't handle and mozilla can

when i make a webpage i always do the main test in mozilla than do other tests in chrome, opera and in the end in IE, which always require lost of more work cause "nothing" work (99% of the time need other css file than others)

I use Waterfox - 64 bit optimized. So much faster when you run a lot of tabs.

erm...didnt they call it minefield before? anyways the problem with that is u need 64bit java/flash and other plugins. also most addons wont be compatible. so far its not worth it for me

    quite a few:
adblock plus (and element hiding helper for adblock plus) - the major reason im not switching, i dont ever have to look at another advert in my life
avast web rep (can see if a site is infected from a google search be4 i even go there)
    czech + english spellcheck
    iMacros
    nightly tester tools
    reminderfox
status-4-evar to get the url preview bottom left corner as old firefox had it
    tineye reverse image search
xmarks to synch bookmarks to a server so i can load them anywhere else
firebug for code editing (that i keep off when i dont need it coz it seriously slows down firefox)

and yeah neither plugins nor addons work unless its a 64bit version so yea, im not giving that up for maybe a little bit more speed. btw if u read their updates, its still pretty unstable :p they just fixed another major security issue in the last one. just aint worth switching yet until people move to 64bit entirely

firefox when working. because of the usable plugins.
chrome for browsing... and i believe is better than any browser available.

that's how they made chrome faster than any browser. true for multi-core, multi-threaded processors. and also for security reasons.
