The Void Syndicate

Basic Information:

The Void Syndicate is a Role Play based guild on the Siel server, specifically for Alternate Characters or for players who wish to take a break from the normal game. It is a place of leisure, not meant for die-hard players who are purely focused on being the best.

On certain days, The Void Syndicate will hold special events and worldwide Role Playing stories. Our guild allows you to fully become your character, be it an evil cleric with a strong bloodlust, or a gentle assassin who would never hurt a fly. Those who wish to join need only whisper me in game for an invitation.

Please note, as we are just starting out few events will be held. Once we get to rank 3 or above, we will hold special events for the first 30 people who join.

Additional Information:

You must:

• Be able to speak English fluently, though spelling is not an option and grammar is optional...However, you must try your best while in character.
• Be an Asmodian. This is only temporary until I start another guild on the Elyos side. (The Elyos guild will be based on the other server.)

Any class is allowed, yet your character must appear how you wish your Role Play character to appear. This means, if you are outrageously short, your character will be as well. Armor and clothing however, does not matter, as the options are rather limited in game.

Please only wear armor and weapons that you can buy from the shops in Pandemonium when starting out. (In character only.)

If your name does not match the name of your Role Play character, please post a reply here with your In Game name as well as what you wish to be called our of character and what you wish to be called while in character.

The first ten members will be given 1,000,000 Kinah each. This will be mailed to your character after you join.

Promotions will be given to those who find more players to join us.

This is NOT:

• A leveling guild. Whatever level you start at is the level your character will be during the Role Play. Please start somewhere around level 20-25, remember, this is for Alternate Characters, not your Main Character.
• A PvP focused guild. If we PvP, it will be against each other as part of a story, because of this we will meet in secure locations in the wilderness, or in towns.
• A gear grinding, item grinding, Kinah grinding, or questing guild.

 

The Rules (Some are posted above):

When leaving the role of your character please type OTC. When coming back into your character please type ITC. You may also use ((___)) where ___ is what you are saying out of character.

English only while in chat, your character can speak in other languages however.

When not in legion/guild (I call it guild) chat, please follow the server rules and guidelines with your chat. In guild chat, there are no rules or limits on what you can say. However, if you are rude, you wont be protected from rude people.

Your starting character must be level 20-25 and is not allowed to use any items except those he/she buys from shops in Pandemonium.

You must be an Asmodian.

Your character must look like you want him/her to look. Physical appearance will be taken literally.

Do not ask for promotions.

Ask me if you want a friend to be invited or if you want to use another character.

Other Information:

As the story progresses your character will earn money, fame, infamy, items etc.

On Friday we will hold a discussion on the first type of role play we hold, who ever gets their idea picked, will win a special prize.

The first ten members who join earn 1,000,000 Kinah as soon as they join (Mailed to your character) as well as "Bonus EXP" during the first role play.

Promotions will be given out to the first five members who join.

Whisper me, Ephimer, in game for an invitation. Once we are a large enough guild, we will hold plays for the public, a sort of theater production if you will.

 

If I am not online when you whisper me, please mail my character the name of the character you wish to be invited.

 

This is wonderful, I could never join as my english is far from perfect, but this guild project is great so wish you all the luck in the world.

 

It doesn't have to be A list, as long as you can convey your words well enough so people know what you are doing it will be fine. For example:

"You want to do what? I wouldn't dare!" Neishi said with a scowl, flashing an angry look at Ephimer.

If your character doesn't speak all fancy like, it doesn't matter either.
For example:

"What are we doing? We going out on a mission?" Neishi giggled and clapped her hands with excitement.

I don't think many people will join, the major interest is PvP even knowing the pvp here is kinda sucky.

 

Oh nice, if so I'll seriously take it into consideration, it sounds fun!

 

That may be true, but PvP will be integrated after awhile, I just want to make sure it gets off the ground before I try to organize anything big. I will be providing Mentor Power Leveling to those who want it after the first Role Play. Each day at the end of the game (Think of it as a sort of D&D circulation) you will "Level up" your Role Play character 5-10 levels depending on how well you preformed.

However, I want this guild to be a means to relax after a long day of killing people for points. Anyone is welcome to join, be it the hardcore PvPer or the casual gamer who logs on to check the broker. If you have the time, I would love for you to give it a shot.

In 3 weeks, provided I have enough people, we will all get together and discuss the guilds future. Everyone has an equal say. If enough people want to PvP then we will, and I hope some of the more popular guilds help us grow better at it.

 

The Void Syndicate will be used on Lumiel however it will also be Asmodian based. The guild will not be Role Play only but will be more focused on Role Playing while killing the Elyos. The reason for this is pretty simple really...When I get ganged up on by three level 55s while I am only level 28...Something is wrong with those players...

Well that is good then, it will weed out those who can not focus for long periods of time. However if you find yourself bored with nothing to do, feel free to keep trying.
