or u can be like that girl yesterday she got a full abg +15 cloth set with MR from a quitting sorc lol

or buy WoC lvl 2 wings for 4k credits and trade them for 2 abg sets like the ripoffs these days

 

if a non donator player manages to get good with normal gear i bet he ll kick ass when got an abg gear... gear gives you an edge but is not absolute.

But of course, just my opinion.

I have the set and still need to learn how to pvp..
pvp here is very different compared to other games I played..
But I'm getting used to the pvp here

Thats over 8 months that your food for the donator. People usually dont last 8 months in a game where they are getting their buttox handed to them over and over and over and over.

For those that believe you can beat abg without abg, wake up. All things being equal, on a consistant basis, you will never be successful fighting a better geared person. Sure, zerg him. Fear lock him. But did you beat him?

He was kicking your butt for 8 months before you even had a chance.

 

no one said you are going to have abg without donating the next week... if people wanna stay they stay.. if don't wanna stay no one keeps them .. its easy..

Yes it's happened a few times to people in APP sets across Gamez's history.

I gave Smartik that title as a nod of approval for his good work on the forum since he doesn't really even play =p


On the subject of donators ruling the server that's a bit of a fallacy really o.o While donating certainly helps you get gear and subsequently an advantage it's not overly uncommon for people in SW/EAT/APP gear to do pretty well in the PvP world. If you're absolutely fascinated on ABG a smart trader can get it pretty quickly with some economy manipulation, there's plenty of players out there who we know have multiple ABG sets yet have never spent a dime on Gamez.

Farming platinum medals, through various means, to get APP is pretty easy when you know the tricks and APP sets are often traded for ABG pieces if you watch LFG/Shouts closely enough although they're easily competitive in their own right. EAT seats, fairly comparable to APP and better for one or two classes, are even easier to get if you're involved in heavy abyss participation. Hell there's a couple guilds that just give away EAT to their members.

As much as people love to troll, and they know full-well who they are, at the end of the day PvP is not impossible for those who don't donate if they're willing to put a bit of effort in. Yes if you think you "absolutely" need ABG (Min/Maxer/Troll) and intend to only vote for it then it'll take awhile but that's a pretty shallow approach.

Having said that I know a few of the Great Generals on Siel at the moment are wearing APP =p I think there's at least one Sorc up there with SW too.
