    Ok so lets use symbols

    6/2(1+2) = x

    We note (1+2) = y

    6 / 2y = x

    2y = 6 / x

    2(1+2) = 6 / x

    6 = 6 / x

    x = 1

    It can be explained in the time-dependant single non-relativistic particles Schrödinger equation

    People please, that question is just some flashy text which is "3 x 3", only that some mathematical egoistic maniac decided to show off some numbers to make it complicated. :)

    Calculate what is in the parenthesis first. I use BODMAS rule.

    B - Brackets First
    O - Orders (ie Powers and Square Roots, etc.)
    DM - Division and Multiplication (left-to-right)
    AS - Addition and Subtraction (left-to-right)

    My answer is still 9 though.
