Event prizes

Hai there.

Being said that AMs are really doing a pretty great job, and I’d personally like to thank them for all the efforts and the many events they’re hosting, I was wondering something about the events rewards which usually are being given out.

Actually almost every AM is giving out the same thing as prize, for every event, as in candies and enchantment stones.

Ok, not that they’re useless, but maybe players would love to get something different than the usual stuff, and maybe more “useful” than a candy (which also bugs your skills at the moment if you get feared/cc’d).

Personally what I always lack of are consumables, then I was just wondering if maybe AMs could turn in some food, scrolls or potions?

Or why not, maybe also some equipment?

Again, I hate repeating myself but don’t get this as a QQ thread, as I really appreciate what AMs are doing, I’m just trying to suggest something different than the usual routine. o:

Feel free to discuss, what would you like to see as events prize? And what are AMs and Admins thinking about it?

its more then week passed and i hadnt got my rewards from 2 events lol

 

They only host events so they can get points to spend on WoC 5. Thats all they want.

 

How about not turning this into an AM flame thread?

+1 for this. Once your armor is +15 you dont really need ench stones. Consumables would be great =)

 

Unfortunately we have a set list of items we are allowed to hand out for most events we run. The list typically allows us to choose one or two of either L90 stones, candies, silver medals, runspeed scrolls, or brilliant aether; hence why you guys see the same rewards being distributed over and over. I generally try and vary the rewards I hand out, however when I get complaints I generally stick to one or two items that players typically "need" more than others. We have to get HAM approval if we want to hand anything else out for special events.

Personally, I run events because I have a lot of fun doing them. I don't volunteer my time for self benefit, I do it for you guys (hence why I appreciate any feedback you have to offer). I couldn't care less about the staff points gained; I distribute my points to help others get the items they need. I've yet to use them for myself.
