spacebar not working ingame.

2 days in a row my spacebar doesnt work ingame. yesterday i restored my comp to how it was before i installed windows updates and it worked. i havent updated windows or anything and now it doesnt work again. can a dev explain this?

 

Make sure the Space Bar is set for Jump Action in the key map.
Unless it's not working to give space in the in-game chat too.

 

its not doing the space for the chat. i can jump. its not putting a space in the chat

 

That's weird. You said it fixed but now it's broken again..
You tried to repair your aion? Also make sure to downgrade if you ever repair your aion since it will update to 2.7.0.2

 

i repaired it lastnight and downgraded it and it worked fine. nothing in the aion folder has changed

 

all character settings r stored server side. if i were u id try
1. log another character and see if it works
2. log a different account (can make a 2nd one to test) and see if it works

if it doesnt work for any of them then its ur client/pc, if it works for some then its server side

 

well i resorted my laptop to how it was almost 2 weeks ago. it works again

 

yea seems like it was ur pc afterall find it hard to believe windows updates would screw this up

sometimes malware can screw up the way ur keyboard works under different situations, had a friend whos letters got mixed up randomly when we were chatting had to call me on skype to get it sorted out

running spybot search & destroy scan often helps to get rid of stuff like this

 

i always run avg and spybot every other day

 

lol xD thats a little too often really never liked avg though. but yea maybe once a month would do lol, it should detect new infected files automatically as they get on ur pc, old stuff doesnt really get infected otherwise. frequent scans just kill ur harddrive over time (same as frequent defrag)
