BT roles?

I wanna know the roles of specific classes..like..
What's a Chanter's role? The speed buff?
SM role? Everyone is always looking for one xD

I know what the others are. I'm just curious cuz I'm always stuck in a group looking for SM to go and we can never get one e.e.....or Chanter. I have a baby Chanter and SM and wanna level em up to do BT but I gotta know what their roles are before i get called and a noob and crap xD

 

a SM role is the most important without him u cant beat Isbariya also they have a buff if they use the fire spirit that helps alot now about a chanter is half cleric and it has some adititional buffs i personaly dont notice much diference if a chanter is in our pt or no
btw i propose if u wana use sm for bt fill him with mag resist and magic boost u might avoid some isba heavy skills if u miss the chance to hit an artifact

 

is there a certain spell that Sm's use for isba o;? if so which is it im very new at SM's so i dont know much xD
