Aion 3.0 New Graphics

My Graphics on the highest settings and engine. These are all user pictures.
Do I need a new graphics card or are the graphics changing?

 

you sure those pictures aren't from a trailer or something like wow does, they make imba graphics trailers, then the in-game is nothing compared

 

Graphics are the same. Only 2.5's graphics changed.

 

"1. When connecting for the first time after the 3.0 update, all hardware that supports the advanced graphics will use the advanced graphics engine.


2. There is now an ‘advanced lighting' section in the advanced graphics settings."

taken from 3.0 patch notes, meaning they toggle HD graphics engine by default for people who didnt notice its there yet if their card can handle it and they add more realistic facial lighting (will reflect the newly added seasons etc like when ur char turns around)

it doesnt have new graphics just the new zone textures are better

 

They look like they're from a Barbie collection, except for the last one. Pretty graphics though :O

 

That doesn't mean they made a new gfx engine though. You won't need to upgrade your card.

..so~ im guessing thats some kind of a trailer like a CG thing ..or an actual in-game graphics, got me thinking zergs clashing with looks like that.. cool, but even if my vga can i don't think i wanna maxed it, it'd feel like overclocking it everytime theres a zerg ambushing out of nowhere
