I take no credit for the program. What the program does is it closes unnecessary applications that are running in your background to release RAM and possible increase your network speed (if the application uses the network). I've gotten some awesome performance increase with this. Hope you like it~

This program will seriously harm some of the applications and shortens your computers life-time.

Nice. I'm around 30-60fps and I have Quad Processor, 4GB ram, Nvidia GForce 8800GTS. I have no idea why so low.

GameBooster only releases some RAM memory by closeing some Apps. this (unless when while playing aion u use 99% of ur RAM) will not increase ur FPS.

Myth- That program will harm your system
    U N L E S S.........
    1) It's using more sys resources (RAM/CPU), than the programs it suggests (SUGGESTS) you close. Thats kind of a no brainer. If your sys is maxed out on RAM/CPU allowances. Chances are that a program like this is only going to swap the current state of your computer for worse or what will seem like same performance. Because it's going to use the same amount of resources to run itself.

    2) Typically the only "programs/software" that are worth a damn are the ones shipped with your after market GPU card as far as increasing frame rates goes. Freeing up RAM has little to do with the GPU. More RAM just helps the CPU run smoother. As does a GPU by relieving some of the stress off the CPU by processing the graphic data before it's handled by the CPU. So the only true way to increase your performance is by using the software that shipped with your graphics card, mother board and or CPU. If you don't know if you have that type of software installed on your rig. You probably don't. And an actual "hardware" upgrade is what you really need.

    3) Most "Pre-Built" computers, Unless the buyer specified the hardware going into it. Will not have many options as far as "boosting" speeds are concerned. Most of the Bios options are locked. And that is what you would need access to in order to "OC"(over clock) your CPU and/or RAM timings. Same is true for the graphics of pre-built machines. Most are "integrated" along with things like the audio. And offer very little in way of over clocking to get higher frame rates.

    4) Lastly. Before you mess with anything like this. The one thing I can not stress enough. Is to monitor your current CPU and GPU load temps. There are several reasons for this. If your system is running to hot right now. Altering any settings out side of the shipped specs may result in sys failure. And void any applicable warranties. If your machine is running with slow frame rates and just over all slow performance. It "may" have a lot to do with your load temps. When things are to hot. They run WAY slower. If your temps are in the 60 degree celsius range while you are running say Aion for instance.
That is close to a dangerous temp. You do NOT want your CPU core temps to get into the 70's. If they stay there to long your CPU "will" cook. = dead. However. 60-70 and up for load temps on the GPU are normal because of what they do and the size of the space that confines them.

There are a few things you can do yourself. Even if you don't think your the "computer savvy" geek to help keep your computer cooler. Before you do anything like this though. ALWAYS pwr off your machine. unplug the power source to it. Then you can open the case. Check for air inlets and vents. Use caned air to remove any clogged airways. When using caned air ALWAYS keep the can outside of the case and hold it in an upright manner. Because the air is condensed. When it depressurizes under use. It will actually freeze on the out side of the can. Your hands will melt the ice and it may drip on something inside your case with out you noticing it. Depending on where water landed. When you power your machine back up. Something may short. So just take your time doing it and you'll be fine.

I understand that not every one reading this are computer illiterate. But for the ones who come in forums asking for advise. I just assume for their benefit. That they just got their first computer 3 months ago. So I don't leave anything out that is important to know.

This program is used for monitoring your CPU and GPU temps. I will handle multi core CPU's or old school singles. It will NOT harm your computer as it merely uses the censors that are already on all mother boards.

Finally. This is just to bring to anyone's attention who wasn't aware of it. And hope many find it helpful. If so glad I could help. If you have any other computer related questions feel free to msg me.

Here is a link for the CPU/GPU temperature monitoring program. Its called Real Temp.

Again, hope this helps. If so give me a ty :)

    Pce,

    Vit.

the software clears ram and turns off a bunch of services it says u dont need for gaming mode
i tried it and it helped me gain an additional 10 fps so even if its just ten thats just better game play for me try it if you want to or not if you dont .. maybe it works for you maybe it doesnt , dont need to bust out a long reply wich simply states that if u want performance then get better hardware..

DUH!! your such a genius guy thanks for muttering the obvious tech dude.... next time when you copy paste something make sure it stays on topic . were talking about the software and it is not an overclocking software im sorry and it has nothing to do with messing with gpu\cpu settings so FAIL i dunno where you just come out here explaining all that when it has nothing to do with what the subject is next time keep words short and on point..... it is usless to use 1000 words to explain something that can be explained in one sentence or phrase that is epic failure.
