launcher problems

Hi Admins!!!

I'm sorry to bother you, as I know you might be extremely busy.

I've been having issues login in to the server for the past few days (since Saturday afternoon).... it seems like the server is down.

Is it just me, or you guys are running some maintenance on the servers?

Can you please let me know what's going on? I'm new to AION, and I have tried many servers so far.... but the one I like the most is this one.

All your help and information is greatly appreciated.

you gotta downgrade it from 2.7.0.2 to 2.7.0.1 i believe

 

this isnt the downgrade, ur version doesnt affect the gamez launcher status

@OP try login ingame anyway, see what happens. u can also try the custom bat launcher
GamezAion.bat

put it in ur aion folder and run it

edit: when the server is down, there is the official server reboot thread floating around in the most recent threads box on the forums, so yea ud know

also if u get past login screen and accept the terms and then u just see an animated background with nothing else then yea u need to downgrade

if u cant even login then the problem is elsewhere

 

But it was working fine until Saturday afternoon............ was this patch done that day?

I can do the downgrade right away............ I was just checking to see if it was a problem with the server.

No......... something that is also worrying me... is the fact that I was not able to access the Welcome to Gamez Aion - Aion Private Server website, nor the http/forum.gameznetwork.com ......... is this related too?

I don't think it's a problem with my PC, or with the client version....... so, that's what actually pushed me to ask trough the forum.

 

well what does it say when u try to login? during the weekend the server was under a DDoS attack so the server and website were down for some time, but its fine now

can u access the website now?

 

That's the weird thing.... right now I'm at work, so I can't test the server... but the website is fine (thus, I got this far)... lol.

The thing is....... yesterday.... I tried the website from the office and it worked fine.......... but when I got home......... failed again....... I checked my home settings, internet was fine...... no URL blocking on the gateway. No Firewalls blocking traffic for AION, nor the website......... not sure what was happening.

I will test the game tonight........ and I'll keep you all posted.

I think, I will abandon the other servers, since this is the ONE I was looking for!!!!

well the launcher says offline for me only if my internet is down , whenever the server is down or restarted it still says online so i thought its the version , i thought the launcher is checking the server list server (funky eh)

 

its checking the login server and ive seen a few people who saw it as offline and couldnt login, though mostly they couldnt load the website either, its the weird case many people from philippines got in the past few months

but yea it doesnt really care bout ur aion client version, its just checking if it can connect to the login server ip

 

Ok, I'm not sure WTF is going on here at my place.... I just tested the .bat file you sent me and it gave me the following crap.




Now.... after talking to you guys..... I realized that stupidly..... I did updated to 2.7.0.2, so, right now I'm downgrading to 2.7.0.1 hoping not to do the same id10t mistake again.... lol

What still makes me believe that there's something odd going on here... is the fact that, even from home.... I cannot see the aiongamez website...... directly.... but I do from the office.... but today, I can access the Forum.... I don't know WTF is going on....

OK........ finally, I was able to downgade it... from 2.7.0.2 to 2.7.0.1 ........... tested it....... and got the DirectX error......... **** !!!!!!!

Downloading the DirectX patch too.........

Again.... I'll keep you posted..... if this does not fix it.......... I still have one more thing to try, if the DirectX patch doesn't work....... wish me luck!!!!!!!!

OK..... following up......... I installed the DirectX patch........ and now got the following error.



I'll try with the final "possible" fix........ and if not...... well...... let see what happens.

Nope............ I tried all 3 possible fixes and it still fails.

Last 2 fixes downgrade.zip (DirectX) and Downgrade2701.rar .... both reflected the same error....... it launches fine, but when I try my login & password.... it says "Cannot connect to the Authorization Server".

I have another copy on my Desktop PC... and that hasn't been updated for ages......... I'll try on that one. If it works....... I'll transfer the files from that one........... give me a few moments, and I'll update you.

 

Nope....... it failed on that one too.......... I'm afraid I won't be able to play anymore on GAMEZ ....... what can I do... please help me!!!!! I'm desperate!!!!!!!!

I'm really new to AION, and had problems on many servers......

First, I started playing on Infinite Aion........ there, the drop rate sucks, same as the XP you get per Quest...... and, what really pissed me off.... was that... i'ts really hard to level up, when you get to Morheim (Asmodians) and you start to get killed by Helyos all the time, thus, not letting you develop your character. I tried as a Helyos... and same thing happened....... this sucked.

Then I moved to Atomix AION, pretty much........ same story.

Later, I moved to AIONWAY...... which is good actually, pretty alike GAMEZ..... but I stopped using it, after starting an Asmodian Ranger on GAMEZ....... now, I finally achieved to level it up to Level 49 (the highest level I've ever got a character (so far)....... and I'm about to hand a quest, hoping to reach level 50 or higher............. and I really love this server.... I desperately need your help, so that I can recover my Ranger........ and don't want to have to start it again......... please help!!!! please help!!!! please help!!!! please help!!!! please help!!!!

Where from the GamezAion webpage can I download the game files?

If I try these:



It will install 2.7.0.2 again... thus, creating a loop.

Ok............ I did reinstall from a Backup I had available............... but still..... same problem.
Even after installing the backed up version........... after trying all 3 patches........... and still nothing.

Weird comment.............. if I am at home, and try to connect to the gamezaion website........... it fails...... if I connect to the office VPN...... it works, same if I try at the office.

I'm running out of options.......... still... same error, cannot connect to the authorization server.

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is AIONGAMEZ ever going to be compatible with 2.7.0.2 ??????

What else can I try? Is there like a backdoor entry I can try???

Hello again admins....

I am still having problems, and it's been over 2 weeks now without been able to access the game server or even the webpage.

I even checked with the local Internet company and they are clueless on what is going on.

We can't even ping Welcome to Gamez Aion - Aion Private Server

When we did a tracert.... it reaches a hub between miami and chicago, and then all the subsequent hops are failing.... this happened to my ISP as well, so, we believe that there's something going on over there... not allowing us to reach the server.

Since you guys are the admins......... can you please confirm that there's nothing blocking Costa Rica to access the game server? or even the page?

I really need your help......... please.
