Hey guys! Out of curiousity .. what programs do you guys use to film your PvP vids/reports and such? Fraps? I usually go with it and then use Sony Vegas to edit but Fraps makes my PC go slower and it's kinda noticeable + the fraps vids are so huge :< Any other program you guys would suggest? Like, something that doesn't make super huge video files and can be on all the time so I can make a good PvP vid out of or a report :ninja: ^_^ I'm still newish to PvP vids, editing and such but I'm improving. Suggestions and tips are more than welcome. ^^

You could use bandicam as an alternative.

Seems like you have to buy that one, though. Otherwise theres a limited time on the video. =( I'm looking for something that I can just leave ON while playing so if I actually meet a suspiciout player or something, I'd have it filmed or just so I can make a good PvP video ^_^

Get a full version of fraps, and use this http://forum.gameznetwork.com/f64/[guide]-how-shrink-your-fraps-footage-112836/ To make your videos smaller :) All video recording software will lag you somewhat, Xfire is a decent free-alternative but not sure how the quality stacks up against fraps.

Aw thanks Frostie <3 Yet I probably won't be able to make a 20 mins recorded video as it will require A LOT of free space >.> I know how to resize them after, im trying to find a program that doesnt make them that huge at first place so I can keep it on for longer and not turn it on/off all the time + i'll probably forget to most of the time =D As you showed @ your guide, 15 seconds sample is 600 MBs =(

Yeah unfortunately uncompressed video footage is huge, Period. No matter what software you use. And as far as i know there isn't a piece of software that directly records in compressed formats (There might be but you would most likely experience massive quality loss)
