Pvp def

i jus wondering about pvp def...its def physical damage or magic damage..or both?

pvp defense is both

 

I was think about that yesterday and it make me do a little test with a friend of mine, we both test ABG and Mastarius, abg tanks a little bit, i real little bit more then a mastarius vs magic dmg, but when we test abg vs mastarius well results give the same dmg, so can somebody explam about that ?

 

pvp def only affects pdamage, not magic damage cause magic damage can be lessen with elemental defenses or can be resisted with MR

 

If you try to tank a sorc or sm you gonna die...

 

Full HP is the key for tanking mage classes cause you can't resist if their MA is high. Though one con of having a full hp is the lack of damage.

 

To my understanding the pvp% works over the total dmg recieved, regardless the dmg type...

 

But Riiper tested abg and mastarius with magic damage in they were the same xD soooo. . . ..

 

I am no developer, but it would be absurd that a pvp dmg % def worked only with one kind of attacks... consider that.

And also think that this is a Pserver, it has bugs, and not everything works as it should... your experiment is flawed from the very beginning.

 

so? i should buy both armor?abg and mr is masta right?...(i jus switch using marco)for pvping =)

 

Well i have tested it and it decreases both physical and magical damage.
