To the AMs/GMs

Hey guys, I'm posting this on behalf of a friend of mine that doesn't speak english very well. Last night he got his account robbed out of the blue. Like .. we were playing, he logs off and next time he logs in all his characters were naked. Unfortunately me and my buddy weren't on to actually see someone else is on his char. However, he says he never gave his info to noone since he plays from his own pc @ home. Whoever stole it he says bought VIP on the acc aswell which he just had enough credits for.
So.. my question to you dear staff is this: Can anything be done? He had pretty nice gears and is pretty frustrated atm.

He got hacked while trying to find a hack program.

 

How'd you know?

 

He didn't give his info to anyone including a fake GM? could also be that he went to a fake gamez website and wrote his information down there items can't simply dissapear like that he must have done something.

 

Yea, I thought so too be he says he hasn't done such things so I decided I'd try to ask the GMs for help.

 

It's impossible for people to get hacked without doing anything wrong. This is why the responsability of your account details it's up to you to keep it safe. People get hacked by some ways, such as sharing the account information with a "friend" or someone, or even giving it out to a Fake GM. Using the information at Fake Websites, and those usually promise more credits or any benefits. And or using a Third Party program that had a keylogger.
Your account, as long the items within it, are your responsability to keep it safe, thus, unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it.
