Sin build and Macro for changing gear

I've decided to switch from ranger to sin. I still have no idea what build should i use, crit or mb. I think it would be good idea if i can use both, i mean i use cloth with full mb for signet silence, and after that immediately to leather with crit.

Any idea how to make such macro? and what's the best weapon for sin, dagger+ dagger, sword (right hand) + dagger, or sword+sword?

Any opinion would be very appreciated

 

Using a dagger on your main hand with a sword on your off-hand is what I do.
I'm a leather sin stacked with 6 slots of accuracy, crit, and attack.
I don't like using Mboost sins that much since you're practically a glass cannon.
You pop a signet once, and you better pray that it'll kill your target or else you're dead.
With a leather sin, you could at least put up a fight with weaves and whatnot.

And to write the macro, simply drag and drop the items that you'd want to switch to in the command box of the macro function.

i actually am doing that for sometime now w/ my deathstab
here's a problem tho....

you cant switch the access as u wanted it since it never changes the other 2 (1 ring and 1 earring).

but if you go for only the set and the switch weap for the 2 weaps. then its fine.
youll get around 1300 mb still if u prefer using crit access as base.

ps: and also, u need to prepare the other food that gives mb/ma for the cloth and acc/crit/eva for the leather

 

Weapon choices: (mainhand : offhand)
- Dual ABG Swords (I don't like this one, lol)
- Dual ABG Daggers (my 4th choice)
- ABG Dagger & ABG Sword (my 3rd choice)
- Athana's Fate / Laestrygo's Mirrage Dagger & ABG Sword (I prefer this one the most)
- Athana's Fate / Laestrygo's Mirrage Dagger & ABG Dagger (my second choice)

As for the macro, just press "U", hit "New", type your macro name, type your macro description, select your icon for the macro and finally, open your inventory then drag the parts of the set 1 by 1 from inventory and drop it on the box below the phrase "Enter Macro Command" and hit save. Make sure to press Enter every 1 item you drop on the macro command panel just to make sure it doesn't mess up.

Anyway, changing from leather to cloth or vice versa during a battle doesn't seem viable at least for me. I think it'd be better to just pick which one you're going to be main at which I would suggest to be on a set that compliments Quickening Doom tree, leather set with crit/atk build.

Given that most people on Gamez sockets magic resist manastones, I think you'd better socket magical accuracy on your cloth set to make sure your stuns will hit.

can just google really, u can type the commands manually

when u wanna switch lots of items sometimes the macro doesnt save coz of too many characters. theres a trick i tested that saves u lots of characters. for example if every item has "Archon Brigade General's" in front of it, u can set this part as a variable

original:
/use Archon Brigade General's Tunic
/use Archon Brigade General's Leggings
/use Archon Brigade General's Gloves
/use Archon Brigade General's Pauldrons
/use Archon Brigade General's Shoes

short:
/variable 0 Archon Brigade General's

this alone went from 187 characters to 158. the more items u use, the more characters u save

might have to check the syntax for variables again. i remember the official aion site had weird typos in their guide so im not 100% sure. was for a friend so i cant check it again. anyways thats the general idea

@Betamax you actually can equip accessories to both slots ^^ each slot has a number so you can choose which slot it goes to. for example

/equipslot 17 [Shield Name]
/equipslot 17 [Weapon Name]

alternates ur off hand weapons/shield instead of ur primary

First off all you should know that im not a pro sin,i only have a general understanding of the class. My ideas usually work well for me

My suggestion

Use athana's fate dagger with 10% silence on main hand,abg sword with 10% silence on second hand (could be blind on off hand if you prefer it over silence) both swords full crit +17

Use a set (egt,abg) not GPP with attack and crit manastones. Your crit with scroll and food should be 850 or so and you should stack attack on the rest of the slots.

About macro and keybinding. You can choose macro by pressing U,drag the items that you want to have in macro,put a name on your macro and click OK. Note,dont put accessories or weapons on macro together with the set,set should be alone in 1 macro. After you create your macro,you can put it in your skill bar,and either click on it to switch set or make a keybind..go to your key mapping,find the slot where you put your macro (Example control+1) and change that slot with a letter of your keyboard that you find easy to press. In a same way you could change your skills by putting keybinds like (ambush for z silence signet for .) and so on.

PS: For 2 sets just make 2 macros and put them on keybind,works fine. On cleric i use MA/block/MR sets and i got 3 different macros for those,no problems at all,it works.

i usually just put the items in my skill bar (maybe bar 5 snce its empty)
then drag and drop it into the macro box.

well the quickbar thing means nothing its like this

1st number is the quickbar set (theres like 9 different sets u can go through, its the arrow up/down on the side of quickbars)
2nd number is the row in that set
3rd number is the slot in that row

so yea theres no info as to where that goes. as for ur slot numbers, if u look at ur inventory, there really r only 17 or so slots for items (meaning the example with offhand i gave was the last one). so if i were u id try the macro with an accessory and just change the slot numbers until it puts it in the slot u want. my guess is the slots r counted counterclockwise so try going down from 17 (test earrings first coz they r higher, then when they work go to rings)

instead of it doing the command..
it shouted the command instead LoL.

u mean u tested the off hand switch?

im guessing it will shout it only if u try to put something in the wrong slot (like ring in a head slot etc). anyways u can experiment and see what works. i havent been on aion for quite a while lol

 

Don't use Abg magic accessory keep your earrings /rings crit ( u lose a lot of accuracy and u become oath dependent or use 2x abg daggers and u will have accuracy 300 form them ) and if u want a little bonus change neck with gpp magic neck (m bost bonus) and slash(abg) and ofc use bandana . weapons u can have 2 sets and use change weapons command
Best set for crit abg Leather ofc , best for magic bost EGT Colth
U will use m bost only to kill some targets like generals in zerg and players who tanut u but is not fun pvp with only m bost.
