Are you using Leatrix Latency Fix? You sure you're not running unnecessary programs that might take up network connection in the background?

 

the server has high ping.the Laetrix helps.only a bit.350+ping for me.i play on Infinite(with about 2k ppl) and also retail with 90+ping.
notice the difference?

 

i think that admin see that people stop donating and they create server problems to make us leave and close him to the end....usual think from private servers...donations are good for the wallet and not for server assist...if all the team cannot fix that better tell us to leave and stop joking with stability issues

As far as I know they do not block the IP because if this was the case you could just use a VPN to relog your account, the account itself is the thing that has been blocked

Oh btw, wth is going on with this server....

Last week was one crash once a day and only minimal lag the rest of the time now the server after the update is suffering 2-3 crashes a day and major lag and instability issues for many.

Problems that I know of that can cause crashes include
Server lag leading to crash
Forming a group and being in hot spot of people can cause crash
Forming an alliance can cause an instant crash to many members and incapability to log back on and stay online without continuing to crash until removed from alliance
Using certain skills has also caused me to crash on several different characters
Being attacked by multiple asmos while in a busy area of PVP also caused several crashes

Before anyone goes saying oh your ISP or computer is not enough to handle Aion, I played 5 accounts on one computer in retail and only lagged in town apart from that I never had any lag or crashes.

My internet connection is the fastest you can get here and I have never had trouble connecting to other private servers such as Atomix or some others, even playing 2 accounts at same time and in Herion Ethlen fort never lagged at all, this server is incapable of having 2 accounts loaded and in city otherwise freeze lag, even one account is little laggy or crash on occasion.

I appreciate that you guys are trying to solve the many problems associated with the server at current and that your possibly unsure and trying to figure out exactly what is causing many of these issues, but other servers with just as high a population are handling their stress load with more features and minimal downtime.

I like this server, I like Alente and one or two other GM's, I donated to help support the server and really hope that you guys can work quickly to solve these issues because from last week they have become much worse and really many players are very frustrated as I am sure your aware, really want this server to succeed and stay online...but these types of problems and the issues getting more severe can lead to a dramatic drop in population and server failure...as I am sure your aware

Keep trying hard to make the server better and I hope to see good results as I am sure your team also does, thankyou for the effort you put in and good work on the issues that you have already solved which I know are many and we do appreciate them.. *ABG modding *_* nice one this rocks*

There's a few possibilities, Carl thinks it was a recent update he applied right before I started helping him. We think it's something in the skill engine since skills are usually the first to go. He wasn;t really great at keeping an svn or record of changes. ><

I have been out of town for work all week so I I'm going to look into some things when I get back into town.
