Aion crahses at character selection screen.

Hello i'm new to this I have done the following so far.

1) Copy the Aion folder from the Ncsoft directory.
2) Downloaded the downgrade file that
3) Installed the file from this link Downgrade2701.rar .
4) Ran the game and get past the loing screen.
5) when i get to character selection and double click on the character that i want the game crashes.

Any Ideas on what is causing it? I have the latest direct X and useing the gamez launcher NOT the NC soft one.

 

Since you just Installed it, you might have Installed it to Version 2.7.0.2. You'll def gonna get error.
I've had the same problem. good thing I got a backup folder and it works again. It seems that server supports 2.7.0.1 so far.
Ask some people who knows how to downgrade it. Or try Searching it in the forum.
