Select Server error

Hello everyone. I am new to Aion and would really like to experience the game play, however, I am running into an issue when I choose the recommended server, or any server for that matter, my screen freezes and I wait until I get kicked from the server. This takes roughly 5 minutes or so. I downloaded from Welcome to Gamez Aion - Aion Private Server and first registered to the original game "NCsoft by accident and realized my error there. Is there any settings in game.exe or similar file that I need to change?

Hey, wow this is really funny. The name I wanted to use, that I have used for over a year now was to be Frost, or Frosty. Now I see why I was unable to use it lmao. No worries though. I have gone to the downgrade site but the download fails to start every time. I have team viewer if you care to take a look. I know that you are probably very busy but if you have the time it would be greatly appreciated.

 

OK I tried these suggestions and replaced the said files. The same thing keeps happening. Before I get to the server log in, at the username and password screen it says that I am already logged in. I retype my password and it takes me to the server selection screen. I choose the recommended server and it still freezes. I guess I need to re-download another 9 hrs.......
