Gladiator: Plate or Chain

u can use chain in special when you are vs a sorc or sm

 

ahh the set switching..

 

plate good vs temps glads,sins,rangers chanters. chain good vs clerics,sorcs sms

 

naaa chain si shit vs every class if u use it full mr u have less accuracy and critical rate better plate wiht big damage so u kill faster sorcers can use suplication of focus and sm are all with macc its waste of time

 

looks like a plate man! i like.. but i saw you using Chain with Attack/Crit stones on it..

and i dont have other set,,, i will trade my chain for plate when i get vip...

 

I think chain is good only if you want to socket there full magic resist and you also have a plate set for melees. If you don't IMO it's just a waste of points/time/kinah. I tried once magic resist on glad and I didn't like it, mages still had too much MA. I also don't know how to code macro to switch whole set, so I just returned to my crit build and became fear hater ;d

Plate doesn't have anything to offer besides physical defense, which is useless.

Chain gives more MR.

Just because it gives MR, doesn't mean it's only meant for those using MR builds (I get 1700 MR with glasses + no MR stones, 2k MR if I'm hybrid.)

The custom bonuses are the same for every armor type of ABG, also.

 

with abg chain set you get More HP btw

 

im running chain mr set on my glad and i got plenty of attack and crit using scrolls.i like chain better then plate just cos of the the mr and plate doesent offer very much in my opinion but its up to personal preferenses

 

chain has 47more mr not a big deal at all, only worth it if you have 2 sets by default , otherwise just slot Mres on the plate its not such a big deal

 

i think abg chain socket with full MR is better than using plate. in raids You'll rather resis annoying debuffs and keep atking. it's also usefull when ur in a group pvp, clerics spend less time dispelling u and focus heals on you better. Tbh i use abg chain ''MR'' regardless .. i really dun care if im fighting another melee that hits harder than me. especially glads if u can resis Lock down snares etc u have a better advantage.

 

Just a quick question,

are you running using a chain set as a main ? or you doing switching set?

 

as i know he always with chain... and he doesn't switch

 

to be honest chain aint gonna save your ass versus a sorcrerer because of SoF. sm's stalk MACC so ur ****ed anyways. and clerics i mean stumble it it pops the veil and runs ._. usless

 

i just got both sets now and ima try both see which fits my play style (which i dont know yet lol). Quick quest how much Accuracy do glads need to better land damage? - for plate

 

when running some glads use a set with full hp .
