Name unavailable even after deleting character

    Hi I decided to make a new character with a name I like, but accidentally pressed enter before actually customizing my character. I deleted it, hoping to be able to recreate a new character with that same name, but it is now unavailable. I read somewhre on the original retail AION forums that it takes 1 year or so for the name to reset? Is tehre a way for me to have this name reset for me so I can use it now?

    Make sure you completely closed your client when you delete the character. Upon re opening the client you should be able to re-assign the name to a new character.

    I got the same problem. Just close the client for about a minute or two then create again. :)
