Unwanted Inventory Item

I have 5 ginseng root in my inventory from the imprisoned gourmet quest that I can't get rid of. I have completed the quest and can't sell or trash the remaining 5. Is there anything that can be done or is this a permanently wasted inventory space?

 

try
1. drag it out of inventory (trash it)
2. sell npc
3. put into account warehouse, transfer it into a dummy char, delete the dummy char
4. create new char

 

I tried that stuff. I know you have no way of knowing, but I'm an IT professional, not a computer noob. lol

I do appreciate the attempt though.

 

Being an IT professional doesn't mean you're on Aion professional. So leave the titles at home, please. ._.;;

Either way, do you have the latest items.pak? If not, /search.

 

Quest items cannot be deleted at the moment sadly ;(

 

Yep. The reason I mentioned being an IT professional is I look for possible answers before asking. I have the latest of everything. Up to date with NCSoft, latest GA installer, latest items.pak, tried all the options I could come up with in game, even tried to see if I could delete items through the User CP on the website.

I guess I shoudl have stated more then just the fact that I am in IT.

As for not being able to trash quest items ATM, I kinda figured that out. lol

I have the same prob' with a few Quest items - can't get them the f'ck out of my inventory.

(Not a very constructive post - but what ever )

That is just insulting to make a link to IT pro and Geek/Nerds.
I am a IT pro myself (not as long as you in busniss just got grade last school year)
But still to get on topic the probleem is that they have writen a script to protect quest items been trashed because of those people who are beeing stupid and trash campaign quest stuff. (when i first read that i laught hard how people beeing stupid) But the script wasn't fully working as planned and so all Quest items can't bee trashed even if quest finished.

 

Funny how the intelligent suffer when people try to compensate for the stupid.

 

Throw it at someone. Enuff said.
