Does anyone know where to buy costumes/fashions?

Hi I was just wondering if ingame NPCs sell these or are these exclusively available only to voting rewards? Also, if its available, would I be able to buy costumes from the opposite faction too? Or will the NPC be hostile to my faction - I'm Elyos.

 

last time i played the npc's that sell the regular costumes also soled some of the costumes which were in the donations buy page however im not sure if they changed that ,otherwise the other costumes u can get only from donation or purchasing from other players

 

well u can buy some costume that sold in shop from an npc anyway
the npc is in crucible sector

 

Thanks for the replies, how do I get to crucible sector? ALso am I able to purchase costumes for asmodians or are those exclusive to their faction?

 

In Sanctum, near the Airship Dock, are a handful of merchants that deal in designer clothes. These merchants are located in the Galleria of Grandeur. If you're Asmo on the other hand, in the Vanahal District in Pandaemonium there is a shop called the Vanahal Boutique where merchants sell designer clothes.

To get the costumes that you purchase with crucible insignias, you have to go to Marchutan Priory or Kaisinel Academy. You either have to go to Pandaemonium or Sanctum and use the statue teleporter found in each city.

Also, there are shugos found in Silentera Canyon that sell the Asmodian/Elyos costume to the opposing race. Just type /where Armanerk for the Elyos designs or /where Pradaaknerk for the Asmodian designs.

Do the vendors accept cash instead of these insignias? Like I just found 4 outfits for Elyos going for 9mil each from the vendors, but are other vendors selling at this price too, or are theyh sold fo rsomething else?

u gotta go to an instance called crucible challange
for solo, u'll get about 700 crucible if u complete the challange
dont remember about the group result
to go there, u can use the yellow teleportation statue that usually used to go to kaisinel/marchutan

 

anyway its only worth of kinah buy for it....

 

You can do the Empyrean Crucible (with a group) and the Crucible Challenge (solo), for you to gain Crucible Insignias. There is a 22 hour re-entry timer for Crucible Challenge. You will find the entrance to the right at "Elyos: Kaisinel Academy | Asmodian: Marchutan Priory". Although someone said that you get 700 insignias, by completing all stages of the Crucible Challenge, you will receive roughly 455 Crucible Insignias. You can gain a few more Insignias on top of these by completing the quests and getting lucky during the bonus chest selection.

The costumes that the merchants in the Pandaemonium and Sanctum & the ones from the shugos in Silentera Canyon are the ones that you can purchase using kinah. As for the rest, you have to purchase it using the insignias or you can also buy them on the Black Cloud Trader's shop using your credits (from voting or donating). As far as I can remember, the prices of the costumes found in both cities cost 9M+, but the ones in Silentera are roughly around 16M and up, depending on the influence ratio.

You can also try to check out the broker, coz sometimes people sell these costumes by remodeling an armor into these specific skins.

Oh ok thanks so much for the replies. Just wondering what are the requirements to do the crucible instance solo? is it even possible to do it solo? Since I'm quite new, my gear aren't that good, it takes me ages to just kill a regular monster @ my level...

 

Anyone Level 50 or higher may enter. There are no separate entry quests. The Crucible Challenge is best handled by those Level 52 or above. Those below that level may have some difficulty with the instance and should plan to bring more consumables and take their time within the instance. It usually takes 5-8mins for me everytime I do it. So I'd suggest you get yourself to 55 first before you attempt to do it. Once you're inside the solo crucible, you can take as much time as you like. So you can rest whenever and don't have to worry about dying.

Also, the Crucible Challenge has a ready room that you will be sent to if you are defeated. You may exchange a Worthiness Ticket with the NPC in the ready room if you wish to re-enter the battle. Be aware that you will only gain 1 Worthiness Ticket in this instance.
