Why ?

So i have 2 question about this picture...

1. The first one goes out to the ppl / Legions in the pic. What are u guys thinking that camp this place 24/7 ? is it fun standing at 1 spot all game camping just to get that small amount of ap.

2. When are the Devs ever gonna fix this BS ?, asmos are not suppose to be able to use this port, just look at the pic.
its just one of the many things that ruins the game experience for so many ppl. when its so easy fro u guys to fix the portals for the races in ur "server restart / updates"






Lastly just wanna say thanx for all the ap u gave us up there, got my self a new egt weapon from just that fight.

 

I heard that Asmodians are able to go through that place, but Elyos aren't supposed to be allowed through the gate.

Then again, I wouldn't know the specifics since I've only been playing for almost two months.

I could say the same thing about the Elyos players who camp Hanarkand's windstream where Asmodians show up though.

*shakes head* I just don't get why people like sitting around and waiting.

 

yeah ofc. im not blaming any race, mostly curious how some ppls brain works or the legions suport this.
if i saw this in my legion i would tell them to stop or find a new home.

cant be fun camping a spot, cus its always the same legions almost.

would make for so much better experience if they fixed the portal for races

It's so much fun when a group of 6 Elyos (i.e. us) come through the portal to destroy like 20+ kisks and have 30 Asmodians come back to their kisks to fight us off only to die multiple times. >_<

Anyways, the poster was simply asking a question about how people like to stand around and questioned their mentality when it comes to gaming, but I guess whatever brings them enjoyment.
I suppose the same enjoyment can be applied by watching people bid over eBay items.

Its not so much enjoyment but the want to pvp but not get your ass zerged over and over by the noobs running around in 6 to 24 man teams while you try to solo.

People forget the joy of solo pvp do to ego over there pixel pride. But no difference in running over a single person in a 6 man group 1 to 6 odds then that same player running your 6 man group over with a 30 to 36 man group basically the same thing all about ratio.

Lets not forget so many people using bugs and cheats. People running faster then mau forever lol, people blinking around then vanish or my fav one is when a cleric can dispel silence on themselves. Retail is just as bad. Loged in Tiamat and was like 40 or so elyos running around in a big zerg in the eye my friends said F it and quit again so here I am again. Even in korea more and more zergs forming up. Aion was made as a group based system only they made it to easy for people to group up get wiped then make a group larger and larger untill they don't have to worry about it.


I really hate to zerg but I really really really hate to get run over by 24 people while they shout crap. Always two sides to everything just saying.

Also big difference in camping kisks and camping the windstream where they come at you fully healed and ready to fight just saying.

I can understand where your sentiments are derived.
That's why I am starting to become irritated with solo runs as well.
I prefer a small group of 4-6 when running in Silentera.

My first character was an Assassin. Now, I've rolled a Gladiator to test out all of the characters one by one.
We always prefer to be outnumbered when it comes to group-pvp.
It's just more fun to see how many we can take out before we're overwhelmed.

Sadly, I know exactly what you mean in regards to the shouts in major groups.
I've seen many Asmodians who like to "laugh" at dead corpses after running in huge numbers.
Oh well.
I can't say that Elyos don't do it as well, but in all honesty, it's just a game.
If you're not having fun, you shouldn't play it.
The only reason why I'm still here is because of my legion mates.
They make this game fun for me. The banter that we have on Mumble, and the conversations make the zergs just tolerable enough for me to try again and again.

 

instead camp in a 6 to 24 man team on a group trying to port in.oh yea amazing pvp
but regardless its possible to solo if you know where to go
me and my legion mates would always hide on top of cliffs and when we would see a group run by we would jump down,however if it was a zerg we would stay up

What would be your definition of great pvp I am curious? All I am saying ( not trying to start any epeen or e-wars with you ) everyone has a right to play the game within reason as not to use bugs and cheats as no ones opinions are greater or better then each individual persons.

iv seen it happen many times before ,regardless if people use cheats or not [idk why this is even in the conversation]
but camping is not even true pvp,its just pathetic
that is 100% my opinion ,and i know yours is yours which i completely understand C;
but then again i dont really have a word on it much since i dont know how pvp is here anymore ,since i have not played for months

 

What is a even pvp in a zerg gameplay? The other day I was alone in the Gravepits and 5 assasins came of hiding and killed me in a second, without even a chance of buff and counter... sure the game is like that, all of them high ranked, it really kills the mood to go around and have fun... so of course next time I lured them to a zerg and while i was killed by them, they couldnt escape the zerg.

So, its being killed by five while you are alone a fair even fight? I dont know... against those five, if i I would bring a larger group (instead of luring them) and we would have killed them with numbers... its that a fair fight?? plop.... when it becomes a zerg? under what point of view?? from the solo guy more than 3 or 4 can be considered an unfair fight, you know?

I have no idea anymore... and there is not much to do either.

About the OP question, is really lame and pathetic that people abuse just because the sake of it, .
but thats what happen when you cant filter who plays and who doesnt... free retail will become the same now that is "free"... just saying.
