problem with starting aion

HI all...so i got this problem...it starts like this:when i open aion with gamez aion lancer at first it pops up a window saying directx that i have doesnt support aion and then another window pops up and says:System interface file cant made or something....anyway i try to update the directx but i was having the latest version so i took from a friend the directx version that use but it doesnt work either...so i try to use the free to play aion to play at the gamez aion as a friend do it too but nothing it doesnt work either...finally i reinstall the aion and now it says that this program doesnt support in my country....WTH is happening??and what can i do to fix it??plsss tell me....

it wont help him this time btw. at the end of the post he said he reinstalled altogether and now gets the unavailable in your country error, not a directx error so directx wont fix it (though it could have the first time)

check your ncsoft launcher region settings, make sure they r set to north america. if they werent, then change to it and repair the client

also try run the 3.0.0.2 client to make sure it works be4 downgrading. that way ull know where the future problems r

 

hellow there, about this post... i just want to add something... i downloaded the game for my friend's pc, i did the downgrade... then replaced the 2 items RAR(downgrade and levels), then installed the gamez launcher, when i clicked Start Game my pc sent me an error 1001, about the Directx, so i deleted the bin 32, replaced by the bin 32 from the guide... start game again,, and the same error poped up... what i have to do? please help...this error is about DirectX =(, this is a pc windows 7 with directx 11... thaks for ur attention and sorry for my bad english

 

the directx error can be caused by 2 things. either the dll files in ur bin32 folder (which u already tested and thats not the case) or simply ur operating system not having directx 9.0c

in ur cause, u need to install the real directx
Download DirectX 9.0c (Jun 10) - Download - FileHippo.com
extract it, run dxsetup.exe manually, restart ur pc when its done installing (really install not just extract)

after that, the game should run fine

 

Btw when 3.0 comes on gamez?

 

whenever some open source project codes the server files so gamez can download them

3.0 is huge so id give it a month, maybe 2

 

oh this is good so i can donate and save my credits for lvl 60 gear

 

already servers out there with 3.0 and custom content so i hope it wont be to long here =)

 

correction: they arent 3.0 servers, they just use a few of the 3.0 files, they still use 2.7 clients

as in my downgraded client could load new areas from 3.0 even though the client is 2.7 coz of the extra files (but yes, they would need server files for that)

anyways its not real 3.0 support they cant use the 3.0 bin32 folder either
