Noob questions :O

Im new to aion and to this server. *insert blabla hello nice to meet you all crap here*
I curently own a 55sin with some sw+other crap gear.
Played for like 1-2 weeks,got vip since I voted a lot before I started playing.
Got a general idea of the game,but so far I've done only some PvE (if it can be called pve with all that tank and spank)
My pvp xp is 0. Where the hell can I pvp? I go to abyss boom 3 hit me dead. I go to Ignision boom 300 asmo kill me.
Same for silentera or however is that written. Doesn't this game have any arenas or smth or some pvp maybe like 10vs10 or whatever but not 100vs100 cuz I cant event dmg som1 cuz my pc freezes. Also where can I get pvp gear and what does it requiere?. Also a sin mentor would be great . If anyone has the time to teach a noob I'd be glad to learn.

that shit 1vs10000 its called zergs..
and i know, its horrible
sience your sin you can use your hide/shadowwalk to avoid the zerg and find just 1 enemy to do 1vs1(not 40vs1)
and no, there are not any "places" where you can 5vs5, 9vs9 ^^

Ok so looking on to some treads i've found somthing about arenas (Discipline/Chaos). What do you get from there?
Also where the hell do you get plat medals from? Because it would take ages to wait for all the siege things (if they really happen,I've never been in a siege or whatever and as far as i understood they take place once a week?)
Also does anyone do crucible instance thing? And farming in ignnison,wouldn't it take ages to farm balaurs for abyss since I can get up to 10k from a player in pvp?

 

well noob means newbie[aka beginner],however its being used as an insult now a days.
Anyways to answer your question Aion Master's sometimes throw pvp events such as 10 vs 10 and that is your chance to join if you want a small event,otherwise your stuck pvping againsts big groups of people so what i would suggest is to find a friendly legion that will help you out with the game and be willing to pvp with you.
The only way you can get Pvp gear is by well pvping and getting abyss points and then purchasing abyss pvp sets,Also u can do it by well the obvious method which is donating/voting.
You can also put your time into crafting items/food/pots etc and sell them for better gear[might take a while but best method if your not planning to donate]
but i would just join a legion as the first step if u have not already C;

1st. you got a wrong pick of character, 2nd. if your a VIP then make 20 lvl 55 and gather all consumables( scrolls, potion, even the medals, and etc.) 3rd. find a good legion they can help you in many ways in group instance or group PVP or zerg..

 

I think it would be better just farm and craft then to make 20 level 55 characters..

 

I'd rather play what I like,no fun rolling ranger and random spam skills = win. Also I have money,I just asked about pvp. Thank you all for the info,il just stick to killing asmos and buying medals.

Also why tf is the server down? Update to 3.0 or maint or they can't start it?
Also if not update then when would it get to 3.0? day/month/year etc

 

Its just down.if the server was updating to 3.0 They would most likely make an annoucnment.

 

server down because of crash, its not update or maintenance. just crash. yes they can start it but take ages.
Please do anything else like playing harmonica or washing dishes.

The Arena of Discipline/Chaos is a 1 on 1 duel between two players.
You will need an Arena Ticket in order to enter the competitive version of the instance and earn any reward. If you kill an opponent, you will acquire 1000 points. If a target is killed by more than one player, the points will be distributed by level of contribution. Once 1st place acquires 50,000 points, regardless of how much time is left in the match, the game will be over.

Since you're a VIP, it's best (and probably the fastest) if you level as many characters as you can to 55, since you get 10 platinum medals when you hit 55 from the surveys. Once you finish the Ascension quest, you'll be 22 and with a mentor you should be 55 in less than an hour. An NO, sieges don't take place once a week. Couple of forts go vulnerable ( a state where any faction can try to take the fort) everyday.

And as for the crucible instance, a lot of people still do it to get crucible insignias. You can use these insignias for armor, weapons, costumes, consumables, even pets. You can find the crucible instance in Kaisenel Academy (Elyos) and Marchutan Priory (Asmodian). And since AP gain takes forever from killing Balaurs (my dear friends QQ), would be best if you gear up and grow a pair and join the zerg, errr PVP.
