Siel - Massive Spikes

Over the fast few weeks I've experienced this in varying degrees, but today its spectacularly bad.



I know I'm not the only ones getting this sort of problem since my friends and other people who I've asked also get these random spikes (from under 100ms to 300-400, and similar to mine: much worse) so it has nothing to do with my (or their) internet but rather its the server.

My ping used to be consistent at 200ish to 250.

 

i normally have around 40-60 ping but i do get lag spikes above 400 a lot recently

/ping 350 ms

seems normal ;p

 

server is prety unstable now, the Q. its why

mine spiked to 27.603617

 

I've noticed this too. It makes me look noob when I'm trying to fit all 4 stumble skills in. :<

 

I just recently spent 4 hours under my house running a 50ft ethernet cable from accross the house, under the crawlspace/basement and up to my main PC so I could finally get off my crappy wireless and have steady ping. I was noticing the spikes too, but I just logged in for demonstration.



I'll see what I can do to get the server restarted.

 

Srsly, I wish Carl would move the server to Chicago so everyone would have a better ping.

Everyone is a big word there.

 

WTFast closest port to the Gamez servers is located in Chicago, which is 1 state over from the server location. The players that would use WTFast would notice much less ping, at least a 10 ping reduction at any rate.

open up your CMD and do ping -t il2.wtfast.com, that is what your ping would be if the server was located in Chicago if you are using the Chicago port, the foreign players are most likely using a national port instead of a city to city.

until now i used the server frome texas(wtfast), but now on chicago, frome 200+ i ahve 120+
