Half of them are banned cause of power abuse so i'm not surprised ^.^

(Bella - ablazed and some others i can't remember)

Maybe on 3.0 a complete new active team who knows?

They only log in to do events for points so they can buy themself special shiny things.

And the few yes few good ones check forums for hackers and log in to ban them (yay clap for them).

But each time i'm online (it could be just me i live in europe) nobody is online 90% of the times.

Log in 10 times at random days and times and search .gmlist you ll see that 8-9 times out of the 10 there is no gm online. Very simple.

If you're talking about Lumiel, unfortunately individuals such as myself have final exams. I haven't been around for the last few weeks due to being absorbed in my studies, and spending most of my life at the library. I get home, make dinner, and go to bed. My sincerest apologies; as much as I want to be there for you guys 24/7, my education does come first.

Which leaves Frost, Vil, and Razor to take care of a community base approximating ~200-300 online average per day. Having different work schedules and living in separate time zones, you will be hard pressed to find more than one AM online at a time. And as Blue said, we do have lives to attend to - inasmuch as we'd all love to sit online every day catering to your every needs, you have to remember we volunteer for the gamez community, we are not paid to sit online and follow every "suspicious" player and waste our time for you. We do what we can, when we can; but we are only human, in the end.

All this being said, I'm not attempting to make excuses for the lack in AM activity. I will not deny that the Lumiel team has been very unfortunate (seemingly cursed?) and seems to explode and deflate in activity on a completely random basis. We have the highest turnover of AM's, and it is very difficult to hire loyal individuals whom will dedicate themselves long-term. I believe it's entirely disrespectful to generalize the staff team as individuals whom only throw events for staff points. I personally have not spent a single staff point on myself and I dedicate all the available time I have to try and make the server a better place for you guys. I throw events because I have fun doing them, and I like to think that despite the not-so-amazing rewards, you have fun too. So, to see people make those kinds of assumptions really saddens me.

Anyhow. If you want to see more AM activity, take initiative and approach those whom have the power to make changes, instead of creating a thread for discussion. Better still, make an AM application if you think you can do better. Look at past AM's applications and figure out what key characteristics got them on the team.

I apologize for the somewhat long post, but I hope I offered a bit of insight from our end.

    Cheers~

Neeza and I took care of double the population Lumiel currently has when the server was completely Bugged and Fked up with hackers, and we both had Jobs and Studied at night..
Not saying your life or w/e is unimportant.. Many GM's resigned due to exams, I'm not saying you should.. yet itd be nice to consider it somehow.. What's the point of being a GM if you can't even log to "help " players.

Taking into account your explanations, noone is actually online .. I saw razor online yesterday for like a few hours and then he hosted an event.. But I havent' seen anyone else in there.. I know they got real lifes and stuff.. But The GM requirements state that you must log at least 3 times a day for a few hours and help players (not being invisible since it'd be the same and also you can't be invisible unless you're hosting an event, as the GM rules state clearly).

I'm not really saying someone should do something about it.. Nor anything like the sort since I'm noone and I got no right to criticise anyone aswell since I'm not in their shoes.. However, once again, I'd like GM's and Higher ups to consider logging more often and caring about people more.
I'd never want someone to get demoted due to inactivity or w/e, But I really would like to see a major improvement in the GM's overall activity and Event hosting.. I havent' seen many of them online in the past months.. and when they do they usually Stay at Sanctum doing nothing (We actually know that since we asked a GM to check a player, he was in sanctum, and replied "Ok ima do it right now" and a friend of us was next to the GM and he didnt' even move for a single secnd to check the issue itself.. but well.. I'm not giving any names tho D: )

@About asking for Decent GM's for a long term. Momo was appliying and He's online almost every single day, And I bet some other players do aswell.. Even myself reapplied to GM since I got plenty of free time Daily to log and help / host events.. yet I'm not asking to be picked nor anything like the sort.. I'm just saying you can find plenty of ppl willing to help this server and being online almost all day at the same time.

lolwut? I was online for 8 hours yesterday. Also, It's not really necessary to have more than one AM online at a time. One online am can easily handle the amount of traffic on lumiel. It's just a matter of not having other commitments. Using myself as an example when i became an am originally i was spending 14 hours a day on line, but, you have to realize that a) everyone gets bored after a while and cuts back on their time (admittedly 14 hours straight a day was way too much, 4-8 is a much better amount). Without having a dedicated paid support staff, no one will ever spend as much time on line as is actually "necessary" to keep the player base happy.

As for the matter of current am's not having enough time, Most of the currently active am staff, are between the ages of 18 and 24 (to my knowledge i could be wrong) with a few members that are older. But the point remains the same. Between both school, work, and potential family commitments No one but an un-employed loner with no school or family commitments could reasonably provide the amount of time deemed necessary by the community. More to come when i think of it.

I log in either US nights or early mornings as I work overnights. I try to log both servers to help out whenever I can

I know you did a fantastic job as a former SAM, and as such your expectations of us are much higher. I did actually consider resigning ever since I realized I would only be seasonally active (around non-exam periods). However I decided against it, knowing it wouldn't really help Lumiel's current condition (since what has generally been happening is, rounds of AMT's get hired and only one out of the group tends to manage to stick around without getting demoted or resigning). I figured that having a long term staff member with an averaged activity rate equal (if not higher) to a new AMT's initial burst in activity would be better than nothing.

One does not simply have enough popcorn when watching the conversation about non-active GMs.

Many GM's spent over 10 Hours daily to Help players and sort.. Not sayin you should.. But well.. Just making a point.
I know you dont' get paid nor anything in order to make your job, Yet if you applied for GM you should have known that at that point, and Still applied (talking in general, not just yourself ) for the "job".
I'm not saying you're not online Yet I don't see much activity nowadays.. Might be the timezone I'm in .. but I'm actually in GMT-5.. So you must be GMT+8 or so in order to be online when I'm not .__. And perhaps you actually are.. but well.. I'm not aware of the timezone everyone has.
I do appreciate ppl logging from time to time to deal with issues.. It somehows makes the community "happy " we can say, Apart from those trolls you always say "GM fails, he sucks" when they actually couldn't do the job better than the current ones actually do.

However as far as I know we got more than Just 1 GM and trust me.. you can handle all the issues for a week, perhaps a Month.. but when noone helps you, you get overwhelmed sometimes and you might even RQ due to that. The point of having a GM team is to cooperate between you guys in order to have at least 1 online GM at any point of the day and ofc try to get some support between you in order to make the task easier maybe..

I wont' say anything about how you deal with your job since I'm not in your shoes and perhaps as some trolls I couldn't even do it well or not.. I'm just talking about the overall GM activity.. You can say I'm the only one which doesn't find any of you online.. But due to the amount of complains on the forums I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. .__.

But if your attitude is like "They don't pay me , I won't stay for much cos I'm bored" than you should think of getting a different job maybe.. Cos as far as I see that is taken as lack of interest in the community, Which you might or might not have.. I never got the time to meet you, You might be one of those persons who actually care about them and try to be online as much as they can.. or perhaps not.. I can call myself an ignorant when it comes to that since I don't know many of the GM's and their actual issues since I'm not really keen to speak with them (personal reasons maybe, I'm somehow weird).
