how do i lower ping without wtfast or something

    i live in the philippines, my ISP is Skycable with 5mbps, without wtfast my ping is 600 - 800. with wtfast my ping is 250... any body knows how to work this out?

    probably not the best idea to be posting ur IP on the forums :p

    anyways dont see what the problem is, wtfast works for u really well, 250 is pretty decent. besides wtfast u can try leatrix latency fix which is passive in ur pc. as for ping reducing programs, theres a new one called reducethelag thats free for a month. otherwise theres battleping if u wanna pay

    lol just tell her its the exact same thing leatrix does through a script :p really not into people digging through their registry

    just out of curiosity why do u wanna play without wtfast? coz really ud just need a different program to lower ur ping which means ud have to be running a 3rd party program anyway, but wtfast is free and works well for u

    the effects of leatrix can be ruined by router or modem settings. leatrix splits up the pairs of packets sent out by ur pc so they can be sent twice as often, but some routers or modems wait until they have both of them and pair them back up before letting them through. thats why u feel no effect of it

    yeah ur right wtfast is free but the current key for wtfast was expired so cant use wtfast right now :(

    because of this i have to buy me some subs time with BP. it's cheaper but it also costing some of my laptop's ram/cpu usage. (3 processes wtf)
