Server Connect [Issue]

Hello There,

I've a problem, everytime I open the game launcher, logging in, presses accept, then chossing a server and it just get stucks the whole game, I mean, I can completely hear the music(sounds),

but I really want to play this server and I can't find a fix for this issue
If anyone can help me fix this issue, I will be really happy.

EDIT: I've also tried using the .bat launcher.

Tried, it didn't work,

I've downloaded all the rars and I extracted them to my Aion folder, and I tried to connect to Liumel, and still, stuck, it doesn't say any error, it just stuck.

 

mabye a anti-virus blocking you, im not really the guy for this, we need the walking F.A.Q. here, *waits for smartik* :<

 

i have a feeling u didnt really downgrade. if u have vista or win 7 then user account control is most likely stopping u from extracting inside program files

go to control panels -> users/user accounts -> UAC (last option) and turn it off, restart ur pc then try extract the downgrade again

nah u were right with the downgrade. its the only thing that makes it behave that way

antivirus would either shut down aion entirely the moment u try start it or wouldnt even let u login, yet he got past server select like all regular 3.0 clients do and then froze ^^

Well not really, it did let me extract the files, it asked me if I want to replace the files, I pressed [Yes to all] and I don't have any antivirus to block me.

 

u might just want to repair the client and try that again. the 2nd file doesnt even matter but the main downgrade does. what operating system do u use?

and yea ur client still behaves like the 3.0 client

well i have the same one. and yea user account control really screws up a lot of things with aion coz it restricts access

really could u just turn off user account control (its just an annoyance really, no help at all), restart ur pc, paste the files in ur aion folder and try right click -> extract one more time?

also make sure the game is closed when u do

try keep it off until it works but really i dont see a reason to turn it back on. its like...all it ever does is keep asking u if ur really really sure whenever u try to install stuff or change settings or whatever. its a real annoyance

oh and if u get the "rollback not attempted" error while repairing the client in the ncsoft launcher, thats user account control's fault as well

 

I've another problem, I can't turn my UAC Off, I don't see it,

I followed Turn User Account Control on or off
but I don't see it on my User Accounts

 

its the lowest option under user accounts, win 7 has a slider that u have to drag all the way down

 

I don't have a slider, and I even clicked on everything and it wasn't a UAC.

anyways fixed, he extracted to the wrong place. made a 2nd aion folder inside the aion folder with all the fixes instead of overwriting
