C9 was prime in its time. Now it's...less appealing to me, since it's dungeon-based, and not the champion graphics-wise anymore.

I'll stick to casual and Mass Effect 4.

TERA? I thought about pre-ordering it, but then rethought and am now possibly moving to GW2.

I'm currently rolling in the casual filth.

What happened to people saying "This game isn't for me." instead of "This game is complete garbage!"? Where's the individualism?

Also, I read something about comparing race car drivers? Seriously? That's a competitive sport, not personal preference.. God you people can't even play the game and make an opinion for yourself before asking/complaining on a forum. I'm disappointed in the lot of you. :l

As for the topic, I'll play both GW2 and TERA when I get the money. TERA has fun elements of play completely different from GW2, vice versa, and I'll play whatever fits the mood I'm in.

From my experience on Blade and Soul I found it an entertaining game but not something I could see myself playing for a long period of time.
Same could be said about Tera for me after playing for a couple of days.

Diablo III unfortunately just looks and feels like a POS, I played some beta and after about 3 hours I raged and logged, the movement mechanics just made me want to vomit.
This is also coming from a diablo-holic.

Aion these days is still a pretty nice looking game and the cribs in 3.0 look pretty cool, I just don't have the will to play it anymore.
One can only be zerged a few thousand times before it becomes utterly retarded.

The one game for me that stands above all as worth playing is Guild Wars 2.
I loved the first one until the relatively small maps became ridonkulous.
Luckily for me and any/every gw fan out there a lot has changed in the last 6 years.
I will be playing beta this weekend and I'm sure my socks will be blown off.

    My vote GW2.

tera is pretty much aion2 : same old mmorpg style with great graphics and something a bit "new" (cross-targeting/aerial combat) oh and bad communication from kor->EU/NA dev teams
gw2 would be the "wow"-like since its style is westernish (less lollies and flesh showing on the armors) and the megahype
too bad tera got a sub and it gets dumbed down to 12+ in the EU , sad pedogrrr is sad

Tera is a project of Gamez for quiet long time now. But I believe that v3.0 is more important than Tera.

Most of the people saying tera is not good are a bunch of trolls. Have you guys even played the game? Have you done any research at all? I have played TERA Korea for months and played all of NA Tera's Closed beta's and open beta. I have a level 60 berserker in K-TERA and was able to explore the end game contents of the game.

These are some of the features that makes tera > aion.

    A. Stunning graphics - by far the best graphics compared to aion, GW2, blade and soul, etc.

    B. Action combat system - the combat system is very different compared to aion. I have played with veteran aion players during K-TERA and NA tera cbt's and we all agree that tera takes the combat dynamics in to a new level gaming experience. You have to actually target your enemy, which is very challenging if you are not used to playing fps games. Healers have to actually run to their teammates and target heal compared to aion's spam-healing.

    C. Various PvP options - Battlegrounds (5 vs 5) (10 vs 10), Open World pk, Guild vs Guild, and Server vs Server which is being developed.

    D. Politics - Aspiring Vanarchs can either win the race by popularity or by dominating battlegrounds.

    E. Epic boss fights - hard mode boss fights in tera are very challenging compared to other mmo's tank and spank system.

    F. The Nexus - Dark Rifts are spawn in the world summoning elite monsters. It requires at least 30 players to hold down the front lines. If you are near the rift, you will be automatically be grouped with other players in the area. Players gain reputation points which can be exchanged for gears, scroll, epic mounts, etc.

    G. More contents are currently in development and will be released a few months after tera's release in North America.

    So yeah, TERA > Aion.
