So I have this anu glad set and when I wear a helmet, my defense lowers in stead of getting up...
Is the stat bugged of wearing helmets?
And btw, what is the best helmet to wear as gladi? ^^

    Now that you mention it...

When I compared the physical defense between taking my helmet off and putting it on, the difference is only FIVE? It's a Dragon Flame Helm, so the def listed is definitely not so little...

    Ok, I tried something else:

I took all armor off my character, then try equipping the helm only... It actually shows the correct value...

With the helmet on, try putting the armor back on... and surprise, the phy def value is actually higher than that of before, by a few HUNDRED...

Take the helmet off and put it on again... and yup, back to +/- 5 to phy def...

Hmmm... is anyone else seeing this as well?

GG on noticing this mate. Try to make A video or some screenshots as a proof of that. That will help the GMS fix it.

I did a few tests, and it seems like the rise and fall of hundreds occurs not because of the helmet, but because of login/logout.

There seems to be some sort of bonus to defense by an increment of 30~50% of basic physic def(the number for which you just add the phy def number on your equipment together) which is not automatically applied after login. One has to unequip and reequip everything once for this bonus(whether intended or not, I have no idea) to take effect.

The above mentioned rise and fall by hundreds seems to be because of this effect, and doesn't seem related to the issue of the helmet... In fact, the helmet's physical defense stats does not seem to be affected by this modifier, so I am guessing it only applies to the 5 body armor slots?

But still, such a large bonus not automatically applied is kinda a really bad bug by itself...

    Seen what you mean.
After i log in i got max Def of 1900 and when i unequiped helmet i got 1895 armor.
When i took everything of and re equiped it i got a totaal of 2495 defence so there are more items missing phy def then.

It's not really missing of physical defense, just that the forumla in the system seems wierd or isn't automatically modified.

For example, if you take everything off such that you have 0 physical def, and then put 1 piece back on. Compare the stated defense on your item, then take a look a look at your current physical defense(since it was 0 before, means all of that phy def belongs to that 1 piece of armor you have put back on).

You will notice that there is actually a large increase in the actual number compared to the stated number. You can try with multiple pieces, and if they have the same stated number, then their actual number will be the same as well.

Which is why I guessed that there is some sort of modifier bonus(I am guessing the passive armor skills?), which the system fails to apply at login.
