hacked. . . . .

Today i logged in (I'm level 32) and everything is gone o.o

I don't hack, its a p-server that you get maxed in 1 hour.
I have no friends here...

So lol. I see everyone getting hacked.. and myself getting hacked with such low items..

Dam, i hope no one else is hacked.

no i didnt give my info out.. i dont know anybody here .. i was just starting to play.. but i guess i wont any more.. cant imagine if i had good gear.. and all gone..

Wow! Brutal hacker/s are brutal. Even a low level with low items they don't let pass outy: This is getting alarming already. If he did not give his information to anyone, then how?

Did you visit any site that says you won an event? Or downloaded something then might be a key-logger?

 

If he didn't give his info out of visit any fishy sites, it means his account info was way to easy to guess. I.e Name and password being the same.

No that's not my password its a day-month-year-month-day password.
It resembles something good or important that happened in my life. But hey they guess that didn't they.

I don't hack, i don't visit sites that have hacking information on. Heck my AVG doesn't even let me on rick-rolled sites.. I doubt it will let me on fishing sites or sites that download stuff without my permission.

But as you are a GM you will denies the fact that i was hacked from your end. My last download was 12 April as it shows on my computer. If i had or have a key logger my anti -virus would have picked it up 400 times since then and now (scanned with Bit defender, AVG, Microsoft Security Essentials). Also wouldn't they take my email(s)? Other server accounts? Dekaron accounts? Fiesta accounts? Yes they would. But look its just GamezAion.

But then again, you will just say my password is easy to guess. Or they had a 1/100000 chance to guess it. In your eyes its entirely our fault. I also just looked at other topics. Same situation as me. But again our fault.

If your wondering why i sound like a prick its not my items nor my account. Its the other people look at the items they lost and no help given, thus why they left the server like i have.

Heck probably most of them donated, glad i did not. But keep telling yourself and your admins its our fault. Its okay you won't get far with that.

 

I guess this is going to be buried aswell as the others this is why i dont play servers like these.

 

almost 2 years here and i never got hacked..
if you don't like p.servers retail is free.. you are free to go there

 

These threads are silly.

For one our systems are locked up pretty tightly hell even I struggle to get into user data with how many restrictions we have at various levels.

If by some obscene twist of fate someone managed to break into our network do you honestly think they would steal the account of a level 32? Seriously? For one passwords are encrypted so they'd either need to manually nuke your inventory data or override your login before sneaking into your account and making off like a bandit with your random level 20 greens. As opposed to you know.. just adding items to themselves that aren't worthless.

Even reading that aloud makes me feel silly.

While we appreciate the fact that some users will refuse to admit fault until the bitter end the fact of the matter is we are completely confident that our systems are not to blame for someone allegedly taking your items. Account security is the user's responsibility at all times - you need to make sure your details are kept secret and secure along with ensuring your gaming environment isn't compromised. Avoiding sites that provide dodgy content is also a plus as your system can quite easily be infected even if you don't download anything.

Saying that "everyone" is getting hacked is disingenuous at best and misleading at worst - the amount of users who actually claim their accounts were "hacked" is a ridiculously tiny percent of our userbase and nine times out of ten they usually admit they're playing in a net cafe or downloaded some random bot from Google. Those who refuse to admit this usually end up leaving red-faced when confronted with the uncomfortable truth.

While it's unfortunate something has apparently happened to your login attempting to blame the server for your actions seems silly.

This is of course assuming you didn't actually just switch to Lumiel or Siel from the server you were playing and you're looking at the wrong characters =p Regardless of that though the forums are not a place for baseless hysteria so I'll be closing this now, while we hope you'd tighten up your security practices and stay here at Gamez if you choose to go do something else with your time that's entirely up to you.
