I can't start the game please help

i installed the game did everything like the site says but i get this error and it does not let me enter the game:sad:

 

you need to download the client ..

*i though it was prank i press the "ok" lol

 

yea could be 2 things. either you only downloaded the launcher and not the actual game or you installed the gamez launcher into the wrong folder. it has to be installed in your aion folder, most commonly
C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Aion\
or
C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSoft\Aion\

 

i did download the client

 

then u installed the launcher in the wrong place. the same folder where you install the launcher has to have the bin32 folder in it (which has aion.bin inside). its looking for a relative file path from where u install it.

if ur in doubt, screenshot your aion folder (or wherever you "installed" the gamez launcher), that will make it clear

 

i think you need to download this NCsoft Launcher | NCsoft not only the gamez launcher

 

i installed the ncsoft launcher,downloaded the game and when it finished i downloaded the GamezAION thing it was archived i copied it into D:\Program Files \NCSoft\Aion\ and unpacked it there and the game still doesn't start..

 

either screenshot the contents of ur aion folder (and possibly bin32 folder, have a bad feeling) or download teamviewer and pm me the ID/pass it gives u so i can take a look remotely

1. u did not install the game, there r no game files there, the folder should be over 20gb in size with lots of files and folders, the only files you have are those from the launcher alone so you do not have the game

2. you also installed the launcher several times i see coz u installed it once inside aion folder and once inside the bin32 folder (so it made bin32 inside bin32 lol)

the actual game would take hours to download. if ur confident u have it somewhere then i can take a look at ur pc and see what it is u did. otherwise go download the actual game from ncsoft launcher

 

but i did download the game from ncsoft launcher it says ''play'' it does not let me download anything more

 

well go find where the game is installed if it says play, coz its not in the folder u mentioned. wherever the actual game is, thats the place where u have to put the gamez launcher

try this, in the ncsoft launcher, right click aion -> properties and see where the install location is, that is the place where the gamez launcher belongs

 

i have maneged to find it,it was in C and i opened the game i enterd the game logged in but when the 2 servers appear i can't click to choose my server and i can't exit the game

 

thats because this server does not support the latest 3.0.0.3 retail client, u have to downgrade back to 2.7.0.1 using this guide

anyways at least the game is in a working condition. kill aion.bin in ur task manager -> processes tab to close the game (or restart ur pc). once its closed, u can downgrade

 

thnx i really hope it will work because i played original and it works good on my pc but i really like a private version of the game ^^
