How does one get caught using blind leap? do I gotta run with fraps on 24/7 expecting someone to cheat at a moment? Usually theres no GM on during this time but oh wait! SirJoseph was on and afk which is pretty much the same AND even if I tell him someone was abusing it, that same person might not use it the next 3 hours again.I dont expect a GM sittin around next to him for hours. So on the topic again.. Frostie.. please.. englighten me.

IDK if you have any satisfaction in locking threads down so we cant complain nor discuss things that need to get fixed, but here, lock that one down too I guess.

 

well only way how to catch them is by fraps,well tehnically u could tell it to GM and he fallows that player but it's low chance he wil do it again !!

I can't afford running around with fraps expecting someone to cheat right the next second cuz
1) It takes A LOT of disk space
2) Makes my game lag
3) FPS Drops.

We're not even supposed to be using these programs at first place.. thats ofcourse if there were no bugs that can be abused ofc.

even if how many times we complain it goes nothing .. they need to fix some other problems not only those bugs skills . and 3-5 am online everyday .. seriously its hard to watch 100 more people plays this game and watch them 1by1 if they use some crap .. all we can do now just to be patient , report them as long as we can ..

Justin.tv has its own storage server which makes possible to store around 48 hours of video as Livestream..

That's another way of catching someone and having it recorded in the meanwhile.

 

You're missing the point. I >CANT< report someone that uses a bug that only takes half a second to do it. I cant even get my hand to the fraps button this fast.

@Blakte: Do you expect a GM to bother himself and chase someone for more than 5-10 mins? I don't. Would be nice if they could scout em for longer though. Thats where the amount of active GMs we have comes up.

 

Doesn't matter how many AM is online at the given time and place. As long as players knows that there's an AM that could be watching them anytime and anywhere, that would at least give them the hesitation to hack or bug abuse.

 

well if didnt record that mage . in first time . try to record her/him in sec. time if you saw him/her again on same place

well mostly this bug abusing hapends in camped spots so u can call a GM cause he probably will do it again in next 2 min for sure that was my point

 

if am/sam/ham is always online they would really make a chance to use that crap right ? so it matters but our stuffs are people so they really need rest

Generally speaking if someone is blind leap bugging a simple screenshot may suffice based on where they are doing it. I.e if they're jumping up fortress walls and such, but in most cases if it's out in the world you may indeed need video.
