question: updated to 2.7 or downgraded from 3.0

3.0 automatically switches the game to the high quality graphics engine which ur pc might not necessarily handle so u can try switch it back. if u think its antialiasing causing this then turn it off from ingame graphics options and see if that fixes

ive seen someone having similar issues (mainly with water effects). in his case, reinstalling directx 9.0c helped
    Download DirectX 9.0c (Jun 10) - Download - FileHippo.com
extract, run dxsetup.exe, restart your pc when done, try again

another possiblity is the bin32 folder cause it has directx related dll files inside. if changing your graphics settings as well as installing directx doesnt help, delete your bin32 folder and replace it with this one
    downgrade.zip

    good luck

Well...it worked 1 year ago when i had another PC. But i am sure it's not from my actual PC...it has processor i7(2.9GHZ), 8GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6870(1GB GDDR5)....But i will try to lower my graphics too
