GameForge Aion europe

I just downloaded and installed GameForge Aion europe..
but this one doesnt open from NCsoft launcher but via the gameforge launcher.. version is 3.0 but can i still downgrade since it is not launched through NCsoft launcher?

 

Nope. You need dual clients if you wanna play private servers and Retail.

 

huh please explain im a total newb if it comes to this..

 

If you have Gamez Aion. Then u have it idk in C:\Program Files\NCSoft.
If you have retail aion (from gameforge) u have it in C:\Program Files\Gameforge. I guess
If you only have it for retail, then download another aion from NCSoft.

 

huh.. i don't understand you're english... i'm asking if i can use Gameforge Aion free to play Europe for playing this private server.
Or do i have to download an other Aion? and then downgrade it?

oke thanks, it takes ages to download that game.. it just downloads with 1.2mb/s normally i download things with 4,8mb/s any suggestions?

just be thankfull,i downloaded the game with 500kb/s so dont complain,ur good...

 

its even worse now, it takes me 298 minutes to download it.. this is horrible..

 

Hm sometimes I face this problem too. Just go to ur control panel and press Network Sharing sth. and just restart the internet. Or just do it on ur router

 

oh for god sakes if they upload such a big game.. 13.9 gb why don't they get a fast server.. jesus!

Well I get about 4mbps for the client, it's not that they have a slow server, it's the fact that you are located in europe. NCsoft is the US based game server, where Gameforge is the EU one. This is a US server, therefor it runs on the US client. Since they don't expect that many people to be playing the US version out of the US because of latency issues, they don't really feel the need to sponsor and EU mirror.
